Just like he left it the cliff never changed, the sky always the same, clouds never changing shape or form and the dull sun hidden behind them. The light was dim like he remembered it to always be and the wind hit against his skin. This time he had a plan. This time he wasn't going to think about the what ifs, this time he was going to just do it. No longer could he live in that house, in that room, or with that man. There was no escape. Where would he go? How would he go? It was a never ending nightmare that was haunting all of his thoughts. He couldn't eat nor sleep, the effects taking a toll on his body and mind. The touch Kwan left behind was both cruel and unwanted, something he never thought would actually happen to him. He had lived in a fantasy where he believed he would take his grandmother and live peacefully just the two of them, how naive he had been.
With steady strides he walked in a straight line to the edge. One more step and he'd be off, he closed his eyes and took it. The rush of nothing below his feet was liberating, his body felt weightless as it started to fall.
The waves below never hit, his arm ascended above his body and a hand was gripping his wrist.
Opening his eyes he looked upwards, his dream was above him. Holding him up as he lay on the ground, part of his body leaning over the edge to catch him. Jungkook watched the males face contort, struggling as he used his strength to lift him up.
Part of him was happy that the other was here and the other part felt disappointment. He just wanted to end his suffering, even if it didn't work because it was all dream, it wouldn't hurt to try. But then his grandmothers face flashed and he felt guilty for even thinking of ending his life but it was the only thing he could think of lately. He was left all alone in the hands of those people.
His body fell onto the others and the suited males staggered breath hit against his ear, arms holding him against a chest. Compared to Kwan, he found it comforting.
"What the hell were you thinking?!!" The male stood up while pushing him to the side. "Were you trying to kill yourself? How could you be so irresponsible?"
Jungkook's eyes welled up more under his scolding. Eyes that had already shed too many tears were now filling up again. Every time one fell it felt like rough glass stabbing into his raw skin.
Taehyung stopped as he heard the sniffles. Why ever time did he see this boy was he crying? "Hey...don't cry. I'm sorry, ok? It's just I was worried." He crouched down to the younger, finally taking in his condition.
A pale complexion, swollen eyes so red they looked painful. The pink lips he had been caught up on before were now a light shade, almost white, the ring no longer there but his eyes narrowed on the deep blue that sat in contrast against the boys skin. In the left corner of his lips, surrounded by the bruise, was a bloodied scab.
"You're hurt" Taehyung was confused. The voice he had used was soft, too soft, like one a mother would use to speak to her newborn. The amount of compassion he could feel towards this pretty boy was concerning. Never in his life did he feel this way for another, not even his hyungs or Jimin. But seeing those tears and the pain in them tugged at his heart strings. Inside he was raging that someone had hurt this boy, that someone had caused those precious tears to fall. Someone had hurt him to the point of leaving behind evidence.
This couldn't be some dream, everything was too real for it to be so. He had come here for the third time now and each time this boy was in front of him. And each time this unknown pretty angel was in worse condition than the last. It was irritating and he found his patience wearing thin.
Ever since the first time, the boy never left his mind. Every time he would close his eyes he would wish to be transported here and his desperation to see the boy was pissing him off. Now that he was here he wasn't sure what to do. The broken angel in front of him needed love and comforting and he wasn't sure if he could do that.
