Takagi thought of himself as an average high schooler, he went to school, did his classes then went to play soccer with his clubmates, hell, he saw himself as lucky for having the refined Tsukimi Chifuyu as a girlfriend.

Sure they have to hide their relationship because the school does not allow dating (he always thought of that rule as dumb) but these past 6 months have been great! They even kissed on their last date at an Amusement park, so he thinks they have made good progress, especially since they have known each other since middle school.

Today, he was running late because of his soccer club, so he told Chifuyu to go on ahead without him, he thought nothing of it and that tomorrow they would meet and continue having their calm and happy days.... then Chifuyu texted him something that made him equal parts worried and angry.

'Takagi-kun.. I need your help, please!

Takagi stood still at the entrance of the school, he was getting ready to leave when the message came, and the hand holding the phone started trembling in anger then he suddenly began running with purpose in one direction.

In his phone was a message and a simple picture of the entrance of a love hotel. The picture seemed to be hastily taken and from a low angle, Chifuyu had obviously taken it in secret..

'he is taking me here...please.. save me Takagi-kun!'

As Takagi ran, one thought was firmly in the front of his mind 'I swear... I will save you. Tsukimi-san. no... Chifuyu!'

---Timeskip a few minutes later---

Takagi ran as fast as he could, thankfully the love hotel was not that far, he had seen it sometimes while on his way to school and had... some moments of weakness where he thought about going in there with Chifuyu one day but none of that mattered right now, the only thought on his was getting there in time and saving his girlfriend from the bastard blackmailing her

When he arrives at the entrance, he takes a second to catch his breath and thank his soccer practice for making him have so much stamina then enters the hotel, the person at the reception, a guy, looks at him weirdly for a second then spoke ''I'm sorry but this place kind of needs you to bring someone with you, do you have a date here?'' Takagi for his part just glared for a second then took a deep breath to calm down and spoke as calmly as possible ''A guy and a girl entered this hotel a few minutes ago right? the girl was probably wearing a school uniform and had long black hair and hazel eyes?'' the guy at the counter blinks and slowly nods ''In which room are they!?'' Takagi says loudly, panicking at the danger Chifuyu is in and angry at the bastard who is trying to hurt her, the guy at the counter flinches ''Sorry but that is private informa-'' ''I don't care! That girl is my girlfriend! and that bastard dragged her here against her will!'' Takagi interrupts the guy, making him widen his eyes in response, then frown and look down for a moment.

After a few seconds, the guy nods to himself and looks at Takagi ''I don't know what exactly is happening but, I can tell you are not lying and the girl did look more uncomfortable than embarrassed when brought here'' The guy takes out a key and gives it to Takagi ''here, it's the spare key to their room, it's the one at the end of the hallway to the left, you can't miss it, basically the last one'' Takagi looks at the key surprised then at the guy who smiles ''hey, if a guy was trying to do the same to my girlfriend, I would react similarly'' Takagi nods and leaves with a quick 'thank you' to the guy
