                                   Cici's POV

          'This is pointless'

I've been walking around this area for like five hours. Talking to random people, listening in on peoples' conversations and even playing with the local kids hoping somebody knew something about the temple we're looking for. But so far I haven't found out anything.

The sun should be setting soon and at this rate I'm going to have to meet back up with the others empty handed. I can practically feel Rose's disappointment now. I don't think I'd be able to handle seeing her being disappointed in me. Tears already starting to fill my eyes just thinking about it.

"Excuse me miss.. are you ok? Why are you crying?"

Startled out of my thoughts I practically leapt three feet in the air. Turning around I didn't see anyone at first until I looked down and noticed a kid standing there looking at me worriedly. Judging by his size he couldn't have been no older then eight years old.

"Oh, hey there. Thank you for your concern little one but I'm fine, just lost in thought is all." I told him while putting on a smile.

                "But why are you crying?"

What a cute and caring kid. He has that look in his eye that said he wasn't going to believe me if I kept saying I'm fine. So deciding that it couldn't hurt to talk to the kid as long as I wasn't super specific I told him why I was upset, to a point anyway.

"You see, I'm here with my friend and I'm trying to help her look for something. But it's almost time for me to meet back up with her and I haven't found anything. I'm just sad because I don't want to to be upset with me for not finding anything."

"What is it that you're looking for miss? I don't know much but maybe I know where you can look." He said with a determined look on his face. Adorable.

"Well, my friend is trying really hard to find something out about a place she really wants to see. Something like a really old, really big house made of stone. It's supposed to be close by."

"I don't know anything about a big stone house but my grandpa always tells me a story about an underground tower before bed."

My ears instantly perked up when he said that. Could it maybe be that the kids grandpa knows something? Eagerly I asked the kid to tell me the story. After seeing how excited I was he sat down next to me and began telling the story his grandpa tells him. After he was done I was certain that it was what we were looking for.

Thanking the kid and handing him a few coins as thanks his eyes went wide at the amount. But before he could say anything I was already rushing off. The sun was starting to set and now I was excited to meet up and tell Rose what I found out.
