Their engagement party came so suddenly that Jennie couldn't react to it.

"Is it because I cried that night?" Jennie asked looking at Taehyung.

Taehyung smiled and took the diamond necklace from the stylist that was bright in color and matches Jennie's skin tone. Then helped her to put it gently on her neck, then whispered in her ears, "It's not because of that?"

Jennie blinked her thick and long eyelashes, Taehyung is caressing her cheeks and continued to ask, "What is the reason then?"

Taehyung held her delicate chin, bent over and dropped a kiss on her delicate lips, "Because I love you and want to marry you, that's all."

Jennie's heart beat accelerated again, Taehyung have said countless love words to her before but she still feels her heart flutter every time. She is moved by his sincere feelings.

Taehyung refused the help of the stylist who wanted to arrange Jennie's skirt, he personally squatted down to help her, then stood up and took her hand.

"I'm a little nervous." Jennie's palms are sweating lightly. Taehyung smiled warmly and coaxed her, "Don't be afraid, its only our relatives and closest friends that are attending, no one will embarrass you and besides I am here."

Jennie shook Taehyung's hands with her, anxious. Somewhat relieved but still nervous, "What should I do if I say the wrong thing later? Will you be ashamed of me?"

Taehyung caress the bridge of her nose and continued to coax her, "I will never be ashamed of you, I like everything about you."

"It's not a question whether you like it or not..."

"Then I'll change my words, Jen you are very beautiful inside and out, no one can dislike you, don't be afraid."

Jennie finally calm down, "Only you think so."

Jennie took a deep breath a couple of times and finally raised her head and smiled at Taehyung, "But if you think so, it's enough."

Jennie walked out with Taehyung, even if she is still nervous. But after being held by Taehyung's warm and powerful hands and absorbing some strngth from him, her tension finally releases from her.

She appeared in front of everyone in a generous, dignified and decent manner. They followed the prescribed process and was congratulated by everyone and nothing went wrong. Everything is perfect. Jennie's father, stepmother and little brother all came over. Apart from her younger brother Minho's closeness and eagerness to her, the other two people treated her with indescribable politeness and alienation while congratulating her.

But Jennie doesn't care anymore.

She sincerely thanked her father and stepmother for taking care of her for so many years, she hugged them and took Minho's hand and went to get desserts and drinks.

"Sister." Minho, who is still a child raised his head and asked, "Are you really going to be married?"

Jennie rubbed his head and said with a smile. "Well, not yet since I have not reach the legal marriage age, so it's still an engagement."

Gu Xiao came over and laughed when she heard this and threatened, "Did you forget? Your marriage has been settled. Sooner than later, you will belong to our family. Jen, accept your fate, you are destined to be my sister-in-law in this life."

Gu Xiao didn't have any bad intentions, just friendly teasing, but Minho didn't hear her teasing tone and almost cried, "Who are you? Why are you being fierce to my sister?"
