The dungeon city of Orario, a place filled with adventure, and place where the gods live with their children. The gods decided to descend to the mortal world to experience the wonders of the world their children lived in. In order to tackle the dangers of the dungeon, the gods blessed their children with the power to do so, forming a Familia.
down in the dungeon, one such adventurer was currently running for his life on the fifth floor of the dungeon. The reason? He was being chased by a minotaur. A monster that resembled a bull that stood on its hind legs, as it chased the white haired boy. "Crap Crap CRAP!! Why the heck is there a minotaur on the fifth floor!" The boy screamed out in terror as he took many twists and turns to get away.
Sadly, his escape would be cut short as he ran into a dead end, as his ruby red eyes widened in panic. "You gotta be kidding me!" He turned around, hoping to backtrack and find a different route, only to find the minotaur standing in the way as it snarled and huffed at the smaller boy. 'Minotaur's are mostly found down on the 17th floor right? There is no way I can defeat one as I currently am, but I'm cornered and can't get past it with how narrow this passage is'
The boys mind began racing, trying to figure a way out of this without dying, which seemed nearly impossible in his current position. The boy bit his lip and grabbed the dagger from behind his back, getting into a stance. "Grandpa, If I die here and now, I hope you know I did my best" He muttered to himself, before steeling his resolve and took a stance. "Just know, I'll take you with me if I can! So come on!"
The minotaur took the boy up on that as it let out a roar that rang through his ears. It then began its charge towards the boy horns first. The boy rushed at the monster with a battle cry, and once he got close, he aimed the dagger at its head, hoping to get it through the skull. However, the minotaur swung its head under the dagger, and pierced the boys shoulder. The boy let out an agonizing scream as his blood flowed down the beasts horn. Because it was still moving, it slammed his back into the dungeon walls, knocking the wind out of him as blood spewed from his lips.
With the adrenaline kicking in, the boy let out defiant scream and swung the knife down into the minotaur's eye, stabbing it in deep and popping it like a balloon. The beast roared in pain as the boy held onto its head for dear life, which proved difficult as the horn was still in his shoulder, so with it trying to shake him off, it slowly opened the wound even further. The pulled the knife from its bleeding eye, before he began to furiously, and painfully chip and crack its horn.
He was so close to loosing consciousness that it was becoming harder and harder to even swing his dagger. Luckily for him, it was enough as when the minotaur swing its head one more time, the boy put his weight into pushing its horn in the same direction. This resulted in him flying against the wall, with the now broken horn still lodged into him as he slumped onto the ground, clutching his injured shoulder.
The beast gripped onto its broken horn and face at it roared in agony from being damaged in such a way. It was breathing heavily as it stared at the boy in pure rage. It wasn't going to be beaten by some rookie adventurer that just got in the way. The minotaur growled as he made his way over to the dying boy, intending to kill him before his injuries did.
However, as it raised its fist to strike the boy, it stopped to feel even more pain in its body, this one coming from two blades sticking out of its stomach. Which swiftly cut it in half, letting out one last roar of pain before it disappeared in a puff of black smoke, dropping a purple chunk that hit the ground with a thud.
The boy's vision was blurry and slowly growing darker with each passing second. his ears were ringing and it was hard to hear that myriad of voices around. He had guessed they were nearby adventurers. 'It would have been better... if they didn't waste their time.. saving me..' Those were his final thoughts before he lost conscious.
