This part takes place at the same time of part 17 in the Fedex Story.

Our sleepover has been chaotic, so far, to say the least. It started out fairly tame, with face masks and hair braiding. The late night baking was the main turning point. We'd just finished two truths and a lie and started to get hungry - so we did the healthy thing and made the sugariest thing on earth, Mallowmelt. Nobody rejected the idea, so we went downstairs to the Ruewens' kitchen and started to prepare everything. I'm not going to name names but Marella will. She says Sophie started it. Can't say I agree with her but I'm a loyal girlfriend. Point is, somebody threw flour at someone and an all-out war started - with Sophie and Marella, that is. Biana and I made smoothies.

Once we managed to drag the two feral cats upstairs, we played karaoke - not the smartest decision I'll admit, karaoke brings out the aggressive part in all of us. We only sang human songs, since they were the only ones Sophie had on her machine. It started with Biana doing Sweet but a Psycho shoving Sophie aside and claiming she had the superior voice, next there was Marella singing UNHEALTHY while ignoring Sophie's snarky comment of it being 'fitting to her character', then me singing Houdini because I was a normal person, followed by Sophie singing Escapism with an exaggerated amount of sass in her voice. Afterwards, we all collectively sang a messy version of My Love Mine All Mine. This led to a heated argument about the best Mitski song.

I can't remember much of what we did afterwards. My mind was a blur. There was one thing I did. It stuck out against the others. Time seemed to slow down in that moment. I'd just shared a kiss with Marella. It was bright and colourful like the others, but something was different. I felt my palms start to shake as I looked up at her, her smile shining through the room. My breath catched. My mouth started to form words like it had a mind of its own. My breath caught. (NO BECAUSE I JUST TRIED TO SAY 'CATCHED' AND IT WASNT A REAL WORD HUH LIKE I THOUGHT THEY WERE SYNONYMS OR SOME SHIT MY SURPRISE IS CONCERNING) "I lo-" Sophie's imparter started to ring. "Guys," she whispered, her face pale, "We need to go, now." I gulped and nodded along with the others, rushing to get my things. I couldn't focus, though, because what the frick frack diddly dack just happened.

this was short and not really containing that much marelinh but I JUST FINISHED MY HISTORY ESSAY AND IM PUMPED SO I DECIDED TO WRITE THIS YEAH
