Doctor

Drake was sitting on the couch, with a paci in his mouth, holding a kitty stuffy, wearing a diaper and onesie now.

"Alright, the doctor will be here in a bit." Audrey said.

The three of them noticed Drake tensing up still.

"Hey, Drake. Don't worry, we're right here." Josh said, placing a comforting hand on Drake's shoulder.

Suddenly Megan came downstairs.

"Hey, what's going on?" Megan asked.

"Oh hey, Megan. The doctor's gonna come to see Drake." Josh explained.

Walter then added. "He's a little nervous right now, though."

"Maybe I can help." Megan suggested.

"No way! You'd probably make him more scared!" Josh yelled.

Drake actually was a bit more nervous seeing Megan, worried about her pulling a scheme on him.

Drake buried his face into Josh's arm and mumbled. "Go 'way, Meggy!"

Megan frowned, she actually liked being nice to Drake when he was in little space.

"Boys! Don't be mean to your sister!" Audrey scolded.

Josh protested. "It's true though! She's probably thinking of schemes right now! And look how scared Drake is."

Megan sighed. "Fine, but I'm still sitting around here just in case."

Then, there was a knock on the door.

Walter got up from his chair. "I'll get it."

Walter answered the door to see the doctor.

"Oh, come on in." He greeted.

The doctor nodded. "Of course." And then walked into the house.

He went into the living room where the rest of the family was sitting.

He was already told over the phone that Drake is a little and was currently regressed, so he came prepared.

He went to where Drake was, sitting next to Josh.

The doctor spoke. "Hey there, buddy. What's been going on with you?"

Drake stayed quiet, he was too scared to say anything to the doctor.

He just hugged Josh's arm.

"Do you want me to tell him, sweetie?" Josh asked.

Drake just nodded, still hugging Josh's arm.

"Well alright." Josh began. "Basically doctor, Drake has been having some problems lately with his bladder."

The doctor pressed further. "How so?"

Josh explained more. "Well he's been having accidents every day, sometimes multiple times a day, also when he's asleep too. He also has pain around that area and been having the need to go frequently but not having the strength to hold it that long."

Audrey also added. "Yeah, we're not sure if it's an underlying condition or if it's his trauma resurfacing, since he used to have this issue when I was married to his biological father."

The doctor scribbled something on his notepad before asking more questions.

"Alright, as it seems, Drake has an infection. I can prescribe a pill for the pain and to clear up the infection. As for his bladder control, only time will tell if that'll get better, I recommend wearing diapers, and all the time, I know as you said he tries to not wear them but you can't let him do that." The doctor explained.

"Well, alright." Audrey spoke.

Josh looked to Drake. "See Drake, the doctor says you need to wear them, no ifs ands or buts. Alright?"

Drake nodded. "Okie..."

"There's one more thing though." The doctor began. "It seems that Drake isn't up to date on his vaccinations. He's missing one. You want to do it now?"

Drake's eyes widened in panic, he definitely didn't want a shot.

"No! No shot! Pwease!!!" Drake begged, tears forming in his eyes.

Josh wanted Drake to get the shot, but he was going to comfort Drake to help him be okay for it. "Shh, Drake it's okay. You need this, and it'll only be a pinch."

Drake shook his head. "No!"

The doctor decided to take out the vaccine and show it to Drake in an attempt to show that it wasn't so bad. "See? It's not that bad, look how tiny it is."

Drake, instead of calming down, shrieked in fear. "No!! I don't want it!!"

The tears from Drake's eyes began flowing down his face as he continued to cry out in fear.

That's when Megan stepped in, she went to the doctor and asked. "Is there anyway I could take a shot? Show Drake it's okay."

The doctor nodded. "Well, I do have another needle, I could just fill that one up with water since you seen to be caught up on all your vaccines. Sure, let's do it."

He went to go fill the needle with water, after he came back, Megan went up to Drake, rolling up her sleeve to her shoulder.

"Drake, look. It's not that bad, I'll show you." Megan spoke.

Drake looked to see Megan bravely getting the shot and then getting a bandaid.

Megan said to Drake. "See? It's not that bad."

Drake mostly calmed down at this point. "Is not, Meggy?"

She smiled and shook her head. "Nope, it's okay. No need to worry."

"So, will you take the shot now, buddy?" Josh asked.

Drake thought for a moment before nodding.

"Well alright." The doctor then got out the vaccine, and poked it in Drake's arm.

Drake yelped in pain for a second cause of the pinch.

But that's when the doctor took the needle out and put a bandaid over where the shot was made.

"See? Done already!" The doctor cheered.

Drake smiled a bit.

"And now, you get a lollipop." The doctor got out a few different lollipops, each with different flavors. "Pick anyone you want."

Drake picked the bubble gum flavored one, unwrapped it and started enjoying the candy. "Fank you!" Drake said.

The doctor smiled. "No problem, kiddo."

"And you." The doctor began, talking to Megan. "Since you were so good helping your brother, I figured you deserved one too." He then also showed Megan the lollipops.

"Ooh, that one." Megan picked out the cotton candy flavored one. "Thanks."

"No problem to you either." The doctor then continued. "Well, I'm going to go now, here's the prescription for the pill." He said, handing Audrey the little piece of paper.

"Thank you so much." She said, smiling.

"No problem." He then said.

The doctor then left.

"See, Drake? That wasn't so bad, and you got something sweet too." Josh said to him.

Drake was smiling. "Yummy."
