The school cafeteria was alive with noise. Students filled the tables, chatting loudly, the scent of food mixing with the chaotic energy of lunchtime. Y/N sat at their usual spot with BangPink, her tray untouched as she watched her friends argue over something ridiculous again.
Jin had just cracked another one of his infamous dad jokes, and as expected, Yoongi and Jennie were not amused.
"That was the worst thing I've ever heard," Jennie deadpanned, stirring her drink lazily.
"Seriously, hyung, just stop," Yoongi muttered, barely glancing up from his phone.
Jin gasped dramatically, clutching his chest. "Excuse me?! That joke was gold!"
"More like garbage," Y/N chimed in, smirking.
The whole table burst into laughter while Jin sulked, dramatically mumbling about being unappreciated in this family.
Y/N leaned back in her chair, stealing a glance at Yoongi and Jennie. The three of them had always been different from the others—quieter, more observant, and brutally honest. If the rest of BangPink were loud storms of energy, Yoongi, Jennie, and Y/N were the calm before the storm.
But that didn't mean they weren't dangerous.
After all, they were the Savage Trio.
It all started one evening in the BangPink household.
Jin, as always, was in the kitchen, proudly presenting his latest culinary masterpiece—burnt cookies. The group had gathered in the living room, watching in mild horror as Jin set the plate down.
"I call them 'Jin's Special Choco Delights,'" he said proudly, arms crossed.
Yoongi poked at one with a spoon. It didn't move.
Jennie raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure these aren't bricks?"
Y/N took a cookie and tapped it against the table. A loud clunk echoed.
"Oh my god," she whispered. "It's a weapon."
"YAH!" Jin shouted, scandalized. "Show some respect for my work!"
Yoongi scoffed. "Hyung, I rap about struggles, but even I can't write lyrics for how bad this is."
Jennie smirked. "Pretty sure this is how wars start."
Y/N nodded solemnly. "This is the real reason the dinosaurs went extinct."
Jin threw his apron on the floor. "I CAN'T WITH YOU THREE."
From that day on, they became known as the Savage Trio—three souls bonded by sarcasm, unmatched roasting skills, and a mutual agreement that Jin's cooking was a health hazard.
Yoongi had always been different.
While the others thrived on chaos, he thrived in silence. He was the type to observe from a distance, speaking only when necessary. But when he did, his words were sharp—straight to the point, no sugarcoating.
Y/N found comfort in that.
One evening, she found him in his room, sitting at his desk, fingers lazily running over the keys of his piano. A soft melody drifted through the air, filling the room with an unspoken warmth.
Y/N leaned against the doorframe. "That sounds nice."
Yoongi glanced at her, then shrugged. "Just messing around."
She walked over, sitting beside him. "Can I hear more?"
For a moment, he didn't respond. Then, with a small sigh, he started playing again.
The melody was slow, almost melancholic. It wasn't just music—it was a feeling. A story without words.
Y/N closed her eyes, letting it sink in.
"You always play when you're stressed," she said quietly.
Yoongi smirked. "And you always listen when you're avoiding something."
She chuckled. "Guess we're both predictable."
They sat in comfortable silence, the only sound being the soft notes of the piano. Yoongi had always been a man of few words, but he didn't need to say much.
Because in moments like this, his music said everything.
If Yoongi was the silent storm, Jennie was the cold breeze—calm, composed, and impossible to read.
She had an aura of effortless confidence, the type of presence that turned heads when she walked into a room. She was BangPink's fashion queen, always dressed like she was about to walk a runway.
But beneath the expensive clothes and sharp words, Y/N knew the truth—Jennie was one of the softest people she had ever met.
One night, Y/N sat on the bed in Jennie's room, watching as she went through her closet, pulling out outfits for the next day.
"You care about fashion way too much," Y/N teased.
Jennie smirked, holding up a jacket. "And you don't care enough."
"Hey, my oversized hoodies are iconic."
Jennie shook her head. "You're lucky I love you, or I'd have thrown half your closet away by now."
Y/N grinned. "You have thrown half my closet away."
Jennie ignored that. "Here," she said, tossing a sweater at Y/N. "Wear this tomorrow."
Y/N caught it, raising an eyebrow. "Why?"
Jennie sat beside her, shrugging. "You always wear the same three hoodies. Thought you could use a change."
Y/N stared at the sweater in her hands. It was simple, but warm—something she actually liked.
She smiled softly. "Thanks, Jennie."
Jennie smirked. "Don't mention it. Seriously. I have a reputation to maintain."
Y/N laughed. Ice Queen? More like a marshmallow in disguise.
