Knowing You | Shim Eunjung & Im Yerim

Baekyeon Girls' High School.

A prestigious school where a lot of chaebols, smart kids and good athletes study; either on scholarship or payed by their parents. Nevertheless, everyone in this school is categorized as the nation's future.

Well, not all of them are good students though.

For example, Shim Eunjung & her two other friends-Kim Dayeon and Koo Seolha. Troublemakers, lazy, and will beat your ass up if you mess with them.

The trio is well known in the school, especially to the teachers since they're the ones who dealt with the problems the trio caused. Thank god they're the only ones who are troublemakers because the teachers obviously cannot handle another set of troublemakers in the school where good students belong.

"Shim Eunjung, Kim Dayeon, Koo Seolha," Mr.Ahn sighed as he looked at the three students in front of him, "This is my last warning. If you guys ever skipped any lessons again, I will write to your parents."

"Understood. " the three answered in unison. Though they're holding their laughter as they peeked at each other's reaction earlier.

"You may go."

"Yes, teacher." they said in unison again before walking out of the teachers' room. As soon as they're out, they let the laugh they've been holding,

"Oh gosh, I almost killed myself from holding my laugh." Dayeon chuckled as she held her belly.

"Me too," Seolha agreed and smacked Eunjung on her shoulder, "Yah, Eunjung-ah, don't ask us to skip lessons again, we might get in trouble with our parents."

Eunjung just shrugged her shoulders, "Well, that's you guys. I put my address for my parents' address so the letter will reach me anyways." she chuckled , satisfied at her own smart move when she filled the student form two years ago.

Eunjung doesn't live with her parents since the school is far from her home so she rented a cheap studio room instead near the school. She likes it better alone anyway.

"Tch." Seolha scoffed.

"Yah, yah, look at that," Dayeon suddenly pointed at the crowded information board corner, "What's going on?"

Eunjung and Seolha also ended up looking the same way and the trio looked at each other before proceeding to walk towards the board, joining the crowd.

"Move."

"Move away will you?"

"Move, move. Let me see."

The trio cleared their path as if the road is theirs and reached the front. Annoyed sighs and cursing can be heard as they move their way to the board.

"Midterm test this evening for Mathematics and..-"

"Yah, do you have no manner at all?" Dayeon's attempt to read the most recent notice got interrupted by a stern voice belongs to Im Yerim, an idol trainee who is known for her good dancing skills.

"Right. So rude, get them Yerim-ah." Jaehyung, a friend in Yerim's friend group supported the trainee with a judging look towards the trio.

Eunjung came forward, staring down at Yerim who is a head shorter than her in a stern way too, "So what?"

" 'So what' ?" Yerim scoffed in disbelief, her opponent this time surely rude as hell, "Yah, can't you see there are a lot of other people waiting for their turn to see the board?"

"So what?!" Seolha said and came forward to hit Yerim but Eunjung stopped Seolha with her hand in the air, gesturing that she can handle this alone.

"Yerim-ah, they look scary, let's go back." Jaeun, another friend of Yerim whispered while nudging the girl who is glaring at the trio now.

"No. I need to teach these kind of people some manners." Yerim glared at the three, specifically at Eunjung since they're face to face directly at the moment.

"Thanks but no need. If we're rude, we've pushed all these people away by force, but we asked them to move instead." Eunjung said and shrugged her shoulders while lowkey smirking.

Yerim was speechless.

Eunjung is quite right after all.

"Don't get in our way again.." Eunjung looked at Yerim's nametag to see the shorter girl's name, " Im Yerim." she said Yerim's name with a stern voice before turning around and walked away, followed by Dayeon and Seolha who are showing teasing and smug faces to Yerim's friend group.

"Yerim-ah.." Jaehyung nudged the idol trainee who seemed mad at what just happened in hesitation.

Yerim felt like her whole face is burning with anger and disgust-in fact,she felt like her pride got shamed and she huffed angrily before turning around and walked opposite of the trio's way with stomped steps.

"Y-Yerim!!" Jaehyung shouted before she and Jaeun jogged after the girl who seemed very mad about the trio.

"UGHHHHHHH! I HATE THEM! WHO ARE THEY TO EMBARASS ME LIKE THAT??!!"

Yerim yelled in anger as soon as she reached the rooftop of their school. Jaeun and Jaehyung just watched Yerim unleashing her anger while pursing their lips.

"What happened?" Suji, another friend of Yerim who was already there asked in confusion after seeing Yerim being that mad.

Im Yerim never got that mad before. That's a fact.

So seeing her being this angry is new to them.

"Earlier there were three girls who cut through the crowd at the information board rudely and Yerim called them out for that. Then one of them stupidly answered Yerim in a smart way and we were speechless." Jaehyung told the story without any tea left behind.

"Oh.. what she said though..-"

"WHO ARE THEY? TELL ME, I WILL KILL THEM." Yerim turned towards her friends while saying that, cutting Suji's words at the same time.

"Them? Shim Eunjung, Kim Dayeon and Koo Seolha. Swimmer athlete, a problematic chaebol and a judo athlete." Jaehyung gave out the info Yerim needed in a fast speed. Well, the girl knows every news and tea in the school, that's why.

"Which one is the one who acted like their leader earlier?"

"Shim Eunjung."

Yerim nodded and her face turned darker in every passing second she think about the said girl.

Shim Eunjung, I will make sure you get your lesson.
