Cedrics New Friend

You cried in Harry's arms. You were meant to be meeting in the common room with Cedric then meeting your group to go sneak out with them but you couldn't bring yourself to do it.

Then you slowly, slowly began to fall into a deep sleep.

Harry's Pov:
She must of fallen asleep. Her eyes were red and swollen from her crying. I'm not the best at using words but not even word could explain how proud I was.

I don't know what the guy would do if he found out she told me but I don't care, I'd defend her. He's probably just trying to scare her to not do anything.

I knew Neville would be back any time by now but he would understand, him and yn get along very well.

On that note, there was the sound of the door handle turning followed by a nock. "Can I come in?" I heard the person say, it was Neville. "Come on in, it's unlocked" I replied as he opened and once he realised me and yn he closed the door more gently.

"Whys she here?" He asked, not rudely, just confused. "Oh, she was just telling me about some stuff" I replied as I sweeped the hair out of her face that just fell out of the bun. "Is she okay?" He asked as he walked towards us.

"She'll hopefully be fine" I said as I took my eyes off yn and looked at Neville.

About 30 minutes later yn woke up.

Yn's pov:
I woke up, still in Harry's bed, with no sight of Harry. "Hi yn" I heard a quiet voice say form across the room. I sat up and saw Neville sitting in his bed.

"Hey Neville" I say, looking around for Harry.
"Oh Harry left, Dean came for him" he said, as if he could tell what I was looking for.
"Ohh, well thank you Neville. Do you know the time?" I asked as I tried to turn on my phone, which turned out to be out of charge so I laid it down. "It's 6, I'm about to head down to dinner would you like to come with me?" He asked as I looked over at him as I nodded and smiled.

A few minutes later we left the dorm and walked down to dinner. Everybody started arriving around 6:15 so we were just on time.

On my way down I noticed Cedric walking with a girl with dark hair, who was very pretty. I have always been jealous of anything and anybody. So I was obviously jealous of her seeing her speaking and laughing with me boyfriend.

They would be playfully nudging eachother and laughing very loudly I could hear it from a staircase above them.

I didn't show that I was jealous though, I just kept talking to Neville.

Anyway, it was my 15th Birthday on Wedsnday, since it was Sunday that meant it was in three days. Nobody knows that though since I've told nobody and nobody had asked.

Once me and Neville made it to the great hall I parted ways with him and walked to Cedric, who had the girl sitting across from him.

"Hey love" Cedric said, not even looking at me fully. He didn't wait for me to reply and went back to joking with the girl. She was wearing a blue tie, so I was confused why she was here at the Hufflepuff table.

I didn't say anything and just awkwardly smiled, not my usual smile, a smile without my teeth.

I just waited for the food to appear and took a slice of margarita pizza. The girl across from Cedric glared at me a couple times. The third time she did I looked straight back at her but she played it off with a smile.

Once dinner was over she finally said something to me. "You're seriously only eating one slice of pizza?" She said as she side eyed me while walking in the middle of me and Cedric. "Well obviously" I said as I barged past her. She let out a small gasp as Cedric continued to walk with her.

I didn't care, I just kept walking with my head kept high. I wasn't dealing with her crap anyway.

"Yn!" I heard a voice yell. It was Pansy. So I decided to wait at the bottom of the staircase for her as she barged past everybody to get to me.

We talked a bit at the staircase before parting ways since she was down in the dungeons. She invited me to go with her for a couple drinks but I declined and headed up to my dorm.

By now the staircases were much calmer and nearly empty.

I said the password and was instantly let into the Hufflepuff common room, where Cedric his two friends and that girl was sitting. Honestly felt as if I was getting replaced but I brushed it off my shoulder.

"Come sit yn" Cedric said as he tilted his head back to look at me. He was sitting right next to that girl. "Yeah, come sit" the girl said as she looked back and gave me a smirk. Not a nice smirk. It honestly seemed evil.

I shook my head as I quickly walked past then and up to my dorm.

I slammed the door behind me which I'm sure the whole castle could have heard and hopped into bed. I sat on my belly and screamed into a pillow.

Was she really a new friend or a new rival? Either way I was already fed up with her.

I sat up and brushed the hairs that escaped out of my face and tugged at the bow to let my hair free. I shook my head and hair around a bit and once I was able to see again I spotted a note lying on my bed.

"Oh great" I thought to myself.

I knew it would be the same person or thing that sent the last note, so this time I opened it now knowing what I was in for.

I let out a sigh as I uncrumpled the piece of paper.

Im aware you told Harry, I'm not erasing his memory so I'll make it easier for you.

But that does not excuse the fact you didn't listen to me, so I used a trick I was saving for when I needed to.

I introduced Cedric to Cho Chang, I'm sure you're already aware of this though.

Seeing how fast Cedric had started caring about her maybe you guys aren't as strong as you seem?

Now don't tell anybody else.

I stared as she paper slowly disintegrated in the palm of my hand as I began to think.

How did he know I told Harry? How does he know every detail about me?

I just want this whole thing to be over.
