2 - Nightmarish Memories

"How nice of you to come around for our chat" A male voice said "Let me go!" I exclaimed trying to lunge at the guy across from me "Ah Ah Ah you're not getting anywhere" he said smirking as I noticed the restraints "What did you do to them!" I yelled "I can assure you those friends of yours are safe we are the good guys remember" he spoke "Good guys my ass" I said and he paced the room "That attitude isn't getting you anywhere" he said to me walking up to a guard getting handed something "Do I look like I give a shit! Where are they! You Barstard" I exclaimed, he sighed "You really like being difficult don't you" he said I continued to struggle trying to get free "It's no use but seeing as you want to play the hard way let's play the hard way shall we" he said smirking again "What does that mean?!" I asked "You should know by now" he spoke showing the remote in his hand to me I knew exactly what it was after seeing it very clearly "No.. No.. Please!" I yelled "It's far too late dear Y/N"

Y/N Pov

I was woken in that moment by a gently shake to my shoulder, I shot up in a cold sweat shuffling back now realising at the time it was Newt "Hey.. Woah easy Greenie it's just me" the familiar soft toned voice spoke I took a deep breathe "Sorry.." I said to him look away "Hey it's fine, I came to get you for food as we hadn't seen you yet and I entered to you yelling in your sleep are you ok?" he softly asked me taking a knee in front of me "I had a bad dream.." I said he embraced me in his arms to help calm me "I see, do you want to talk about it?" he asked me "Not really, No offence" I said he nodded "that's fine" he spoke "there is one thing from the dream I learnt.." I spoke up "oh?" he said "I think, no I know my name" I responded he looked at me interested "that's good" he said "Y/N, My name is Y/N" I said he smiled and I returned it "That's a very beautiful name suits you well and we won't have to call you Greenie anymore" he laughed as did I "Yeah that's good, thanks Newt" I said he nodded "don't mention it now let's go get us something to eat before we have to go start our jobs we have around here" he said slowly climbing down.

He led me to the hut where Frypan was cooking so delicious food for everyone "Morning everyone" Newt said entering first everyone bid him good morning to which I then entered to the room going silent "Morning everyone" I said to them all I got smiles off most people but some weren't too sure on my arrival Gally being one of them "Just sit down already" Gally he said to me rolling his eyes "Oh shut it Gally, give the girl a chance for sake" said Minoh "Thanks" I said taking my seat with them as Frypan placed a plate in front of me I smiled.

I had managed to eat my food and even seconds in just a matter of minutes the boys on my table looked shocked "Did you enjoy that" Newt joked "Yeah, I did, I'm not sure why but it feels as if I haven't eaten in a while" I responded they all nodded then Alby entered walking over to me "Morning everyone, Y/N" he said "Morning Alby I assume you've come to show me my job like agreed" I said as he nodded "yeah, Are you ready?" he asked I jumped up "I would love to stay and chat boys but business calls we can continue this later" I said following Alby out of the hut and over to near where my treehouse was in the glade.

"Right Y/N, So I can guess you can tell by the garden behind the treehouse you have a small idea for what I am going to ask from you" He asked me I nodded "Sort of but you may explain" I responded smiling he smiled back "Gladly, So essentially you will be working along side Newt and some of the others to pick fruits and maintain the garden we have here sound good?" he asked "yeah sounds good to me, I'll get started now" I responded he smiled before leaving me to do what I needed.

I started work on the garden tidying it up a little and making some more gardens for seed planting minding my own business when Newt walks up not too long later "Hey Y/N the garden is looking even better than it was before" he said "Thanks like it to, I love being out here it's almost calming and distracting" I said to him he nodded "yeah I feel you there, here pass a shovel I'll help you out" he said so I did so and we got to work, we were soon enough done just as Alby, Minho and other runners returned I let Newt go greet them while I cleared up for the day, I walked a nice peaceful path through the trees to the storage shed on the wooded area when I heard a twig snap from near by but assumed there was one on the path maybe and continued to put things away before I heard another snap followed by another and another all getting closer and closer as well as louder and louder with each one, until I was done and decided to have a look around the area for the cause as I started to grow paranoid "Ok Newt, I know you are here" I spoke but there was no response so I was confused and continued walking until I noticed a silhouette in front of me facing away from me.
