Enjoy ;))~ A day before the events of chapter 23 ~
The weather hadn't been nice that day as a steady cloud coverage blotted out the sun, leaving the city grey and disparate. All persisting sunlight had disappeared a while ago when Felix knocked at the apartment door and Changbin had let him in with a smile. He was wearing casual clothing but he looked so adorable in his oversized sweater. He was carrying a small bag with some toiletries, pyjamas and a bottle of his favourite vodka.
Jisung was out on a late night recording session with Chan and he was staying at the oldest's place since Changbin had sort of "sexiled" him. He didn't know if anything was going to happen between him and Felix, but he liked to take the proper precautions just in case. Also, he prefers to be alone with the taller blond, at least they'll have more time to chat than usual.
They sat themselves down on the sofa, the awkward tension losing its uncomfortable edge as they began pouring themselves shots almost immediately. Changbin got out the wasabi peanuts he knows Felix loves so much and they got to talking about whatever crossed their mind.
Over the past few weeks, they've grown closer and a lot more comfortable, sometimes exchanging small kisses that leave them stuttering and blushing for hours. They still haven't had "the talk" where they define what their relationship truly means to each other, but the line between friendship and dating has been firmly crossed.
They occasionally go out on small lunch dates where the walk back home is filled with ambiguous phrases and tentative handholding. Changbin would love to take the next step but he fears that Felix isn't ready yet. He'd briefly explained what most of his past consists of, but the older knows that there's more beneath the surface and he wonders if that's what is holding the blond back.
They stopped the shots the moment Changbin rolls a blunt and lights it, soothing his nerves almost instantly. After a few weeks of inner debate, he'd decided to let Felix make the first move when it comes to them. He offered the smoking joint to Felix, who shook his head after a little bit of hesitation. Changbin quirked his head to the side, he's usually a lot more willing to smoke with him, maybe he's taking a break.
"I don't really want to stink of weed tomorrow..." He answered the raven haired boy's silent question with a small smile. Changbin reciprocated it and ruffled his blond strands gently.
"If you want a bath or a shower... you can always have one. I put out spare towels just in case." He rubbed the back of his neck rather awkwardly. He felt a little sheepish to admit it because it made him sound like he only wants to get into Felix's pants, which is true but he's classier than being some creepy voyeur and watching him shower.
"Oh, perfect. I'll have a bit then." The blond said, his smile still so imperceptibly flirty. Changbin smirked and pulled it out of his reach just as he was going to grasp it.
"Binnie..." Felix's warning tone sent delicious shivers rolling down his spine. Heat pooled in his stomach as the light in the blond's eyes turned dangerously lustful.
"Yes?" Changbin let himself moan slightly as he spoke and the look on Felix's face was priceless. The younger lashed out again from his spot on the floor, trying to grab the blunt. The older laughed as he pulled it away yet again, eliciting a small pout from the blond.
"Binnie! No, come on!" He giggled. "Let met have a bit, please?" He pleaded, trying to grab it. Changbin grinned as he took another drag and blew it in his face this time.
