THE WRONG HOUSE.
"Are you doing okay Riya?"asked Shruti. Riya turned around and dragged her eyes from the mirror to look at her. "Why do you ask that?"asked Riya."Well, why you ask? Ok, for one, your eyes, they are red and puffy and two, you smile... please don't ever smile like that, it doesn't suit you."said Shruti.Riya slumped her head in defeat and sat down next to Shruti on her bed. "Is it that obvious?"asked Riya and Shruti nodded her head in a yes.
"I thought I moved on. But I guess I wasn't. I am trying, Shruti but... it's just..we were together for five years and it hurt. It hurts how he threw away our relationship..."said Riya, tears forming in her eyes. Shruti, was worried and tried to console her but soon Riya 's crying turned into anger as she started to shout.
"That jerk! If I knew he would do this...I would have never loved him. That sonofabitch. He doesn't deserve my love!", Riya started to shout,Shruti started to panic and quickly closed Riya's mouth. "Look bestie, I know you are angry. But if my mother hears you shouting, I am done for. So let's just go to the temple shall we?", asked Shruti. When Riya nodded her head, they started to head to the temple.

At the temple, Riya sat near a pillar while Shruti went to get some flowers. Riya was staring at the sky while thinking about her past relationship with Jai. Jai Raishanghan. Jai and Riya studied in the same college. They have been together for five years. Jai was easygoing and friendly type which made her fall for him. She could still remember their first meet as she looked at the silver bracelet in her hand.
Flashback.
Riya was in hurry to her class as she went running through her college entrance, pushing past everyone. She used her hand to move past a couple in front of her. Unfortunately, while doing so, her bracelet snapped and fell into the fountain in front of her college.
"Oh no no no no! Not my mother's bracelet!" Riya shouted. "Riya come on, we are late!" Said Shruti, who was running behind Riya. Riya was so shocked to move. So Shruti, unaware of the situation, grabbed her hand and guided her towards the direction of their class room.
In class, all Riya could think about was her bracelet. The only thing she had from her mother. It was her mother's. After her death, Riya always had it with her. And now it's gone.
When the class got over, Riya rushed out and went to the fountain. She looked at the fountain in every angle but couldn't find her bracelet. Tears started to form at her eyes when she felt a tap at her shoulder. Riya turned her head towards the stranger and it was non other than popular boy of the campus, Jai Mehta.
And even better, he had her mother's bracelet in his hand. "Looking for this?" He asked. Riya nodded her head. "I saw it, fell down and took it out to give you. Here" said Jai, giving her the bracelet." I...thank you."said Riya, finally pulling out the words.
"If you really want to thank me..then how about you treat me to a coffee?"asked Jai.

That's it. That was it. That was how she and Jai had met and that was how he asked her out for the first time. A small tear rolled down on her cheeks as Riya, remembered their every single moment. Riya's thoughts were put to halt when she heard a sudden scream.
