"What happened?"
Sohee asked Min.

"Wonbin told me maybe this is for the best."
Min said to me and Sohee.

➤ Sohee and I sighed.

"My parents should be home soon, maybe you two should get going, thanks for visiting."
Min said to me and Sohee.

"You're welcome, I hope we can all get through this."
I said to Min and Sungchan.

➤ Sungchan and Min nodded.

➤ Me and Sohee got up from the couch and said goodbye to Min, Sungchan, and Minhui.

[ MIN'S POV ]

"Your friends are nice."
Sungchan said to me.

"They are."
I said to Sungchan.

"Do you still have feelings for your ex?"
Sungchan asked me.

"I do but it's complicated, what about you?"
I asked Sungchan.

"No."
Sungchan said to me.

"No?"
I asked Sungchan confused.

"There's a part of me and my ex's story I didn't tell you about."
Sungchan said to me.

"Okay."
I said listening to what Sungchan had to say.

"My ex and I had a very good relationship. But when her and my parents got into an argument and she said something to them that I didn't like."
Sungchan said to me.

"What did she say?"
I asked Sungchan.

"She told my parents to give her money so she can leave me."
Sungchan said to me.

"What? Why'd she say that?"
I asked Sungchan.

"I don't know, and the fact that she said it when I was standing there next to her."
Sungchan said to me.

"Wow, I'm so sorry Sungchan-ah, you don't deserve that."
I said to Sungchan.

"It's okay, I'm over it."
Sungchan said to me.

➤ I nodded. Sungchan and I were silent for a few seconds. He got closer to me and was leaning in for a kiss but I moved my head to the side.

"I-I have to study."
I said to Sungchan nervously.

➤ Sungchan backed up.

"Min, I'm so sorry-"
Sungchan said to me but I cut him off.

➤ I ran upstairs to my room and closed my bedroom door. I went to my bed and laid in it thinking about what just happened. Was Sungchan trying to kiss me?

[ THE NEXT DAY ]

➤ I woke up from my sleep because someone was shouting from downstairs. I was worried so I hurried out of bed and went downstairs.

"What's going on?!"
I asked worriedly to everyone.

"They canceled your bachelorette party."
Mrs. Jung said to me.
