According to this theory the world was made because Elmo, Abby, and Cookie put their consciousness in the robots to save their world but in the process it kiled their entire world and created the new one we see in the show
This is a pretty interesting theory
But if the entire world was destroyed then how do we see the Martians in this video clip come through the portal
If the word was already destroyed then how could they have come through the portal?
Because they appear in pretty big city which means that the word were already have been destroyed if this theory was true and they couldn't have gone into that world
So this idea kind of falls apart
The only way this might make sense is that the Martians are from the past and somehow the portal got to them and they went through it before the world was destroyed and it's teleported them to the present where the word is fine and dandy
This seems to be the only thing that makes sense to me
But then I went back the question who brought the portal this goes back to my other theory about how the portal got to them originally
So these two ideas are connected in some way
What happened is Elmo, Abby and Cookie put their consciousness in robots to save sesame Street but in the process their whole world was annihilated which created a new word kind of like what happened in Scooby-Doo mystery Incorporated where everything is peaceful and they can save everyone because in the real world they couldn't save everyone
And what happens is somehow a portal gets to the past and allows the Martians to enter the present with no way back to the past therefore saving them for their demis.
So I'm pretty sure this is plausible since it ties in with another theory and this might help us understand why we see no hints to sesame Street other than the Martians.
And this might explain why the robots act like Elmo, Abby and Cookie but they're not exactly them.
