7 - Newbies

I went to check to make sure they weren't seriously hurt or anything as they hadn't woken from all the noise we were making, and we were a loud bunch especially the boys because geez they very much sure woke me up a month ago, But that's when on of the girls shot up quickly, Newt jumped in to join me "Hey.. It's ok" he said softly just like he had with me knowing the girl was confused and scared "Where am I? Wait... You seem familiar" she said to Newt he shrugged "this is the glade, we all woke up like this but do you have a name?" he asked her she nodded "It's Tara" the first girl said "Nice to meet you Tara, let's get you out of here and checked out so Y/N here can check on the other girl, you don't happen to know her do you" he asked Tara "No but she was awake when we were down there before that thing moved but she grew drowsy and passed out but kept repeating the same names over and over" Tara said I nodded to Newt to take her with Jeff off to the medjack hut.

I then turned my full attention to the other girl the only people left at the box were Myself, Alby, Thomas and Minho who wanted to keep myself safe, then the girl laying her eyes shot open and just like Tara said "Y/N! Thomas!" she exclaimed before passing out again, I backed up a bit taken back by the fact she said my name and not only my name but Thomas's we both traded looks at each other "What the hell!" I exclaimed but I shook it off noticing red liquid coming from a cut on her head, I scooped her and carried her to the medjack hut placing her down gently on a bed next to Tara and then myself sat down taking a moment to stable myself "Y/N what happened, you look like a ghost you too" Newt said looking at both of us.

"Give them both a moment, they just had a big shock" Alby said Newt looked at him confused "What do you mean?" he asked "The girl just said both their names while Y/N was standing right next to her" Minho said by that point I had zoned out really taken back, I felt a hand rubbing my back and handing me a glass of water gently when I snapped back into reality "s-sorry" I said "Hey it's fine, it caught you off guard Y/N" Newt said as he walked me to the food cabin to get me some much needed air.

Some time passed and I had gotten back from the lake to a commotion at the tree house and I saw Tara standing away from the boys as rocks were being thrown from above, I walked over to her "Hey Tara right? What's going on?" I asked her she looked at me "Yeah, That other girl climbed up there and won't come down and is throwing rocks at the boys" Thomas also walked over by that point too hear what Tara told me, we looked at each other "Maybe she'll talk to us?" he said to me, I shrugged "she did say our names" I said.

We both walked over to the bottom of the ladder "Let us try" I said to Alby "go for it" he said, Thomas yelled up "Hey, It's Thomas and Y/N we're coming up" he yelled up "Yeah just us and were unarmed" I yelled up to her she had peered over by then and we climbed up I went first opening the hatch giving Thomas a hand before closing it gently.

We turn to see her with a blade in her hand we both shoot our hands up "Woah- hey look no weapons" Thomas said "We aren't here to harm you, I promise, please but the weapon down" I said softly The girl stayed still, she said out names but seemed unsure with two of us here so I turned to Thomas "Let me handle this you go down and assure the others" I said to him, he nodded leaving me there.

She still didn't move but the blade got closer "Where am I! What can't I remember things! Who am I?" she started to spill "Hey Hey breathe, slow down, your ok" I said getting off my knees standing the blade still point towards my neck but she stayed silent "Look all of us here woke up just like you did, so please calm down" I said, she still stayed completely silent "We all had no memories of anything including our names but it can take a few days ok" I assured her but her first words took me back a little.

"Teresa" she mumbled, "wha?" I said confused she took a breathe "My name.. It is Teresa" she said finally lowering the blade I sighed in relief, she lent on the railing I cautiously joined her "Well my name is Y/N, but you seemed to know that" I said, but all a sudden she raised the blade again on edge once more.

"Who are you! Why are you and that guy the only thing I remember?!" she asked demanding answers, I put my hands back up "I.. I really don't know, I woke up a month ago today just the way you did, and all I knew is my own name.." I told her, she believed me I guess because she lowered the blade again, this time I took it for my safety.

"I'm just going to take this" I said taking the blade from her hand placing it on a table then sighing "Ok, much better, now how about we come down from here" I said opening the hatch gently "ok.." she said hesitantly, following down staying close to me when we hit the ground, "Everyone back to work!" Alby's voice said, I showed the girls around the glade before we slept.
