Being The Side Character

-Life got an upgrade-

A historical-fantasy realm, home to kings and queens and their loyal servants. Noble folk walked the streets and owned the lands, and around them were the commoners hoping for just a small taste of such luxury.
In this world status came above all, riches and power were what everybody strives for. Magic came with heritage, through blood was the most common way to have access to such power. And through blood may one inherit riches.

In a glamorous manor filled to the brim with the sweet taste of luxury. The furniture alone was all treated with more respect then commoners, being adorned in beautiful gold accents and jewels. Those living in such comfort were of nobility and high prestige.
On a quiet morning the sunlight's soft glow hit the sheets of a large fluffy bed fit for a princess. But instead of a beautiful princess, awoke a young boy with messy hair and tired soft eyes

He looked confused yet curious.. as he quickly glanced around the room he slowly came to realize.. This wasn't where he had gone to sleep?
And unfortunately the boy was right, He fell asleep in a shitty dormitory with minimal space, a hard mattress while playing a dating sim.. But this room alone was as big as double his dorm-room and his mattress was extremely nice..
"wait.. forget that.. Where am i?"

Finally he knocked himself back into his senses once again scanning the room up and down, left and right... How familiar? No.. Weirdly familiar..
AM I IN THE DATING SIM GAME?!
OH SHIT AM I THE MAIN CHARACTER??? AM I A GIRL?!!?!
He quickly looked down and pat his chest, he sighed a breath of relief. He indeed was not a girl.. But wait, his hands were small and squishy? They looked like they belonged to.. A 8 year old?

"Well at the start of the game they main character is a 8 year old.."
But his hair wasn't long and luscious at all, in-fact it was short and it looked like it hasn't been cut for awhile like it was just barely hitting his shoulders. It was definitely as ordinary as can be.. so there no way he was the main character still. Once again another sigh of relief.
"Who am i?"
The first question that had to be answered. He was on a soft fluffy bed in a decently large room so he couldn't be some kind of servant. This room looked like it belonged to a hobbit, a messy desk, bedside table next to the large bed and a mirror in the corner next to the closet filled with exquisite clothes.. but not much else.

After a small while he stood up feeling weirdly exhausted as he slowly walked up to the large mirror.
It was a oval-shaped mirror in the corner of the room with silver framing, it was large enough to show ones full body.
A quick look and the resemblance was shocking, he was the twin brother of the main female character..
He was Liam Ericsson, young master of the noble house of Ericsson. Looking messy as ever with dark brown hair that reminds one of dark chocolate, light brown eyes which all came together with his pale skin making him look like cute little boy.
He had a common face of a young kid, easy to know yet easy to forget.

So he really was the twin brother of Liana Ericsson the main character who is the girl he played as in the dating sim.

He stood in-front of the mirror admiring this new body he was in, after a few seconds of staring he came to the realization.. How much did he actually know about Liams character?..
He knew Liam was more of a background character who aids Liana during her time in the magic academy.
Acting as a tutorial character for the magic controls and minigames in the dating sim, a stepping stone for the storyline.
He also recalled Liam being a weak and fragile person unable to cast much magic because of his weak condition.
If Liam wasn't weak he would probably be an incredibly important character. Liam actually liked this character quite a bit despite not knowing much about him.

But as of right now he was a kid with a weak imune system, he often got sick..
And at this exact moment he was supposed to be asleep with a fever of sorts so Liana could be introduced to the game as a kind gentle soul, taking care of her sickly brother so he would become indebted to her later in the game. Why was he awake? Will this have an effect in the storyli-
