In a game for two, if you act rashly, you might put your teammate in jeopardy. The world is like a jungle, full of survival and instincts. You can place your trust in someone else if it's too much to carry, but if you choose the wrong person, then that's on you.

No matter how beautiful the sky looks, hurricanes still occur. In those hurricanes, the unimaginable could be there, and you'd get hauled into the unknown amidst the chaos.

Wooyoung was living the definition of a picture perfect family. They would have dinner together while discussing recent events, participate in charities, and go out quite often. They never fought, finding a solution for everything, defending each other and taking care of one another under any circumstances. They hosted game nights and spent their weekends watching movies. Wooyoung had an older brother which he cherished to no extent. Their parents fell in love plenty by the passing days, for nothing could seperate them.

And then one evening, Wooyoung's dad was at work when he received a phone call. "I am sorry to inform you that your wife has passed away. Unfortunately, the driver overturned and she didn't make it. Notify this number for more information."

After the incident, Wooyoung's dad was never the same. He became aggressive and would come home drunk. Wooyoung and his brother Seonghwa knew not to disturb him, locking their rooms for extra security. They would hear the banging for a while, crying silently in the corner until it diminished. He would leave early in the morning, the only time they would exit the house.

But one day, Wooyoung had to go to the bathroom. His brother told him to be patient for a few hours, but he knew he couldn't. So, he unlocked the door, carefully checking the area, creeping on his legs stealthily. He rolled behind the couch and stayed there till he felt safe, and continued his way to the door in front of him. Extending his hand for the handle, he felt a blow to his stomach, an immense pain like no other, tumbling back and hitting his head on the wall. "Wooyoung!!" He looked at him, his lips curved up, not reaching his eyes.

"L-lock the door" he managed to let out before he was struck on the same spot twice as before. Seonghwa was not having it. "What happened to you! What have you become? You think unleashing your anger on your own children is going to change anything!? What's done is done! We're also as affected as you. What about us? Have you ever considered how we feel about all of this? You never cared, you selfish bastard.." Wooyoung didn't have a clue about how his brother felt. Just like how he'd always protected him, he stood his ground, ready to take the hits for him.

Their dad smashed the bottle and pointed it at them with his haywire temper. "This is not how I raised you, don't defy me!!" Just like that, he plunged the bottle into Seonghwa, and blood dribbled from his mouth excessively. "No..Seonghwa!!" His brother recoiled, landing on his little brother's thighs wonkily. The dad dropped the glass, guilt eating him up after a heinous disaster. "I didn't do this, it's all your fault! You did this! You're a monster, it's not my.."

"You're going to pay for this!" With overflowing tears and a runny nose, Wooyoung fled out of the house, ending up in a dark alleyway. He was in the middle of freedom, yet someone was after him, not being able to yell or focus on his breathing. He fell, crawling back with the figure coming towards him. He thought it was over, that he deserved this for not protecting his brother, when he apprehended rocking on his upper arm.

It was a person. He clung onto the woman's calf, begging her to call the police. They sat together on the floor till Wooyoung calmed down a notch, enough to explain everything that occurred earlier. When he finished talking, she did whatever she could to support him, and eventually, that's how they made it to the orphanage.

Wooyoung was truly thankful to her, having to actually capture his dad, throwing him in jail like the vermin he is. He apprehended a life sentence, giving Wooyoung the reassurance he needed.

His greatest desire was to see Moo-Myung once more, wanting to hear his voice, his habits, wanting to embrace him, telling him he'd search the pits of the earth so long as he finds him.

And that was the hope he had been holding on to for all those years. Moo-Myung was his armor, the will to defy every hardship, the reason for not sinking to the bottom of the war he'd been dueling with, his savior.

San was still half conscious when Wooyoung was gone. He opened the drawers, the closet, the bathroom, anything he could find, but Wooyoung's items were missing. He didn't want to lose him again, but he didn't have a say in this.

He kept everything as it was, sitting in the same spot every single night, imagining Wooyoung doing his silly attempts at revenge. "I crossed the line..and you can't tell me otherwise. Aren't you going to yell at me? Jerk.." Months went on just like that, and San began failing academically, for he didn't have the motivation to lift a finger.

After contemplating what to do for a while, San made up his mind to go and look for Wooyoung. If he was going to fail, then at least he'll fail knowing that he tried.

He didn't take much luggage with him, just the minimum. He reported his absence, saying that he had to go to the countryside to visit his mum because she was ill. None of that was true, just excuses. He forgot to tell Yeosang, owing him an explanation later on, but for now, he turned off his cell phone, reducing his distractions.

The venture begins.
