Hoh?

I sat alone in the quiet car and looked at the view outside the window, leaving Yuki behind at the clinic.
Was that it?
Her father thought I could fix her simply by talking to her. What a joke.
"What's it like to be outside for the first time?"
"Nothing."
It's not that I wasn't curious.
It's just that I don't feel anything, at least nothing that I can call an emotional response to.
"Nothing, huh?"
My father probably had thought so.
I was looking out the window without emotions.
This empty shell I inhabit...What will happen to me?
I'm curious about the things I do not know about beyond the White Room. Will they be of use to me? Will my experiences, even though temporary, at least have an impact on a person such as myself?
Or...
Will I fall further?

Pathetic.
I guess it was the latter in the end.
"What's with that look?" Annie Leonheart's disdainful voice rang, her face contorted into a scowl. "It looks like you're about to murder someone."
"Hm. It could be you. Do you want it to be?"
I said nonchalantly, noting her eyes diverting from my person in shock. She mumbled something under her breath.
"Like you could even lift your fist with those injuries..."
"I can most certainly move my right arm. And I'm not in need of my left to snap your neck. However, that would be a bad idea, since I cannot eat you and gain the power of the Female Titan for obvious reasons."
"You're a monster, you know that? How do you sleep at night?!"
"The pot calling the kettle black. How do YOU sleep at night?" I leaned forward a bit, the chains rattling. "Don't think we're any different. Aren't you an active participant in mass murder, Annie Leonheart?"
