The black night glistened, and the city lights glared back through the retinas of my eyes, I can feel the coldness, the bustling atmosphere yet simultaneously an entirely quiet environment, a perpetual feeling I'm allowed to view through my apartment's windows. This continuous feeling crawls up my skin leaving a path of goosebumps, traveling up my spine. A sharp breath escapes, removing the thoughts and emotions out through the air.
Y/N: "Martinna? You've been so out of touch with reality since earlier, did you have a bad day at school?" I glance behind me, the warmth surrounds the seat I currently lay in. I've definitely been sitting for too long, it's late I should maybe close my eyes. But, the view advertising it's beauty sits still in front of me, the city lights urge me to keep looking. I have a theory that the nights weren't only made for sleep.

Y/N: "hello?? you aren't responding." y/n panicked "you aren't...dead yet right?" y/n walks closer to the couch, Marty's silluette stays still observing the window's view.

in a matter of seconds..
I glance back, Y/N's figure sighs out a breath of relief, yet is concerned with my everlasting silence.
"I'm okay, I just feel tired. My body's giving out."

Y/N: "oh but, I prepared us a movie tonight? We rarely get to hangout this late right?"

I feel tempted, but I silently agree to myself that my body needs energy more than it needs a Netflix show.
Remorse seeps into my blood circulation, seeing Y/N's face flood with a sense of disappointment, but understanding.
Before entering my room through the hallway, I see Y/N'S discontented emotion, and I can't help but feel concerned. Y/N puts on their shoes successfully and smiles a goodbye before grabbing their bags and leaving. The door shuts passing Y/N's departure, and suddenly my house feels tense and quiet. I walk through the dark halls and enter my room, the doors creak in my wake. I really needed this sleep.
