"I guess we just had a way with words in 1913." Henrik somehow shrugged in the present. "What do you mean by "The Magnificent One?" I then asked in curiosity. "Well, it was more metaphorical I think the word is? We chose it because of how bright it was during the closest moment we could see it when we rushed back to university from the hills. When your дедушка saw it for the first time he could barely contain himself, we were so happy that day, we cherished it for as long as we could, and then you know. *bwaaaaahhhh fire sounds*" He finished.
"Well, now we know what we're looking for again, it's just that this thing is old n' dusty. I'll be cleaning it up a bit, so I guess hang tight and read some more, will you?"
I then stated. "Wait.. This telescope hasn't been used in how many YEARS!?" Henrik exclaimed in shock. "Uh.. since I've been here and considering how dusty it got I'd say 2 years since I last used it, and since you and моя дедушка discovered that star in total." I replied honestly. "..I thought you said you had permission to use that thing, right?" Henrik then questioned in utmost confusion. "I never said that I always used the telescope EVERY day, I said I had ACCESS to it every day." I then proceeded to clarify. "That would explain a lot." Henrik said against refute. "Alright, I'd say we're good to go." I say, spinning the telescope a few inches to the bookshelf before pointing it straight up into space, whilst also applying a filter. "They certainly tried to improve the telescope and everything, last time I checked they didn't exactly have a whole "filter" over the viewing glass." Henrik explained further. "Well, they didn't want people going blind from looking at the sun, and I am certainly surprised that even as a bird, you are not the slightest bit blind." I say in genuine surprise. "We only looked for a few seconds, so твоя дедушка is still as "bright" as he was at the time we made the discovery." Henrik chuckled, although I didn't find his pun as funny. "...Yeah.. hahahaha. Let's just move on now." I replied in a bore. "Yes, yes. First we test the actual advanced features, I haven't seen this thing for a while, so you get to refresh my memory." Henrik then said getting back on track. "Alright, how about Mars?" I then questioned. "Check." Henrik then scribbles in somehow. "Venus?" "Check." "Uhh.... Yu... Ай пиздец.. Yu-r''ay-nas?" I then dumbfounded myself. "Yes, it is there." Henrik reassured. "Why so specific?" I then asked in even more confusion. "Because that's how we originally began our search." Henrik answered, turning a page in his notebook. "Okay, you should see cluster of stars next to the location, zoom out if you don't see it." He continued. I then proceeded to take over on the telescope, and then saw nothing. I zoomed out a little more, rotating the telescope to change angle even, still nothing... "You sure it's there?" I ask. "Very sure, just keep looking." He went on. Eventually after minutes of re-adjusting I found this strange cluster of lights, colors, and most importantly. Stars. "Nevermind, is right there." I then see a nice and clear image of what he was envisioning. "That is good news. Next, zoom in very, VERY closely, nearly as far as you can go, but not all the way. Leave some space for what "could" be floating out there." He explained even further. "Huh, that's strange.. I don't see- wait what the-" I would then suddenly be taken aback into a strange colorless universe like I would have saw in those old movies that дедушка liked to watch very often. I couldn't speak, I could only observe what had been happening in years past... Oh no..And so, Artiom has began a treacherous journey to find the constellation, but little does he know what awaits him now..
(A/N to literally anybody, and i mean ANYBODY who has read this and tried to keep up with the plot even in the slightest i am so f**king sorry, I just couldn't keep up with scheduled publishes and just gave up momentarily with this now finished draft.
