Who killed my mother?

1.

I was in class.

Uh... Kae, number four.  The teacher said

I looked up at the board fidgeting with my pen.

as I was reading the question I saw the door open and threw cops walked in.

"Dad I told you already it's not like I took drugs its just a tattoo.". The popular pick me girl said.

"I'm not here for you laya." The cop replied with 2  two other cops following behind him.

Then they walked up to me.

"Can I excuse her from your class?" The cop said with a serious expression.

The teacher nodded and fear ran through my body.

"Pack your things" the cop said and I did just that.

When I was finished packing they began walking towards the door and I followed.

The class went silent and then whispers began.

"Where are we going?" I asked desperate for a response but got no answers.

We existed the building and entered the car.

"Is there something wrong, please tell me what's happening." I said

"Your mom had a little accident at the pet store.." he replied

" Is she okay?" I asked worried but they didn't respond.

I looked out the window fidgeting with my fingers anxiously.

When we reached the pet store my mom owned I saw a lot of crowd news reporters and ambulance trucks.

There was a side parted with yellow tape and I saw a body under a white sheet being put in the ambulance with blood dripping.

I quickly  existed the car tears filling my eyes. I ran over as fast as I could and went under the tape and ran to the ambulance truck with tears running down and sobs to be heard.

I removed the white sheet the moment I was next to her and I  look at her teary eyed.

I was quickly held and pulled back by some officers while I struggled to get out of their grip.

"Why would you let her pass" one of the officers said while they took me away.

Leave my mother's resting body behind.
