The New Guy

It all started the day I said yes to him.
Never did it cross my mind that I would end up like this. But his looks provoked me into a different life.

Enrique was a well known guy. His personality brought attention. While his appearance had everyone turning heads, including myself. But comparing to him, I was nothing. I was just a normal girl who focused too much on school and had the best of grades. I knew I wasn't good enough for him. Or at least that's what I thought until the day he spoke to me.
"Hey, your Sarah right?" " Umm," I replied nervously. " Yeah." " Wow, everyone talks about you. But it's nothing compared to what I see now."
"Oh, is that a bad thing?" I said. "No, not at all." he replied. "It's actually a good thing because your so much more than what they say. We should hang out sometime." "Yeah, sure." I said softly. "Okay well here's my number and just text me so we can figure out when." "Oh, okay." I replied.
I walked away shocked by what had happened. "Why would he ever want to talk to me? This could all be a joke." I said in my head. After school I decided I would text him just to see what would happen.
