16 - Making up

Alby's Pov

I rushed back to the hut, Newt following behind me, he seemed sceptical even though he agreed "Alby.. What if it kills her.." he askes me as we entered the hut and walked over to Y/N and as Thomas, Tara and Teresa also rushed in behind us as well "It seems like the only thing we haven't tried.. it's worth the risk" I say, turning to where Y/N laid.

Newt moved out of the way letting me have space to work, I put the via into the syringe stabbing it into her stomach so gently, then making sure to throw the used syringe away afterwards, the hut went silent as we wait to see what would happen with the infection, Y/N suddenly shoots up again and just like before her eyes shoot open and she let's out an almighty scream, myself Thomas and Newt try holding her down again.

Y/N Pov   

I suddenly woke up feeling the worst pain of my life, I shoot forwards screaming in complete and utter agony as I feel three sets of hands holding me down I squeeze my eyes shut tears running down my face "W-What.. the hell..." I say managing to get that out catching my breath, My whole body feels like it's been lit a flame "It burns.." I cry out "Bite down on this Y/N" I heard a familiar  voice say a rag appeared in my view I bit down really hard.

"Guys look her stomach!" another voice exclaimed "It's not black anymore!" another said followed by "It looks like it's healing.. right?" a third said followed by the forth and final voice "It may be we haven't seen anything like this before but it doesn't look infected anymore but we'll keep an eye on her to be sure" the voice said calmly.

I finally open my eyes again able to adjust my eyes to see I was in the medjack hut surrounded by five people, Thomas, Tara, Alby, Newt and Teresa who remained silent, I avoid eye contact, Newt taking the rag carefully out my mouth for me as I glance at him "Hi..." I mumble he rested his hand on my shoulder smiling slightly "Hey.. Y/N" he said in a soft tone.

"Y/N I have to check, but do you have the urge to lunge for anyone at all right now?" Alby asked standing to my right side I look up at him "no... I.. What did you do to me.." I asked scared and confused looking down "This was just a precaution sorry.." Thomas said loosening the restraints allowing me to sit up on the bed more.

"How do you feel though Y/N?" Tara askes standing to my left right next to Thomas, "I feel like i'm on fire and my stomach hurts a lot" I say slightly adjusting myself on the bed, spiking pain as I do so I clench my jaw.

"Ok, so Jeff will keep an eye on you for a little while, to make sure the vial that arrived in the box works, then we can allow you to be more free within the glade" Alby said I nodded agreeing, "I shall leave now to let you rest, Guys try not to bother her for too long" he said heading out of the medjack hut.

The sound of silence filled the room for the moment before I spoke "Newt.. I wanna-" I went to say as he cut me off before I could finish "Y/N don't be you weren't in control of yourself at all" he said giving me a gentle hug and smile as I glance to Thomas who gives one back and to Tara who returns it with a second gentle hug, I then glance over to the corner where I saw Teresa away from the others sitting silently.

I notice she has many cuts and bruises across her face, she looks away from me trying to hide them away, I frown, my smile fading she noticed looking at me as she clears her throat "Guys.. would you mind leaving us.. We need to talk.." she asked me they nodded all leaving the hut, she made sure they were gone before she started to speak, she sat next to me. 

"Hey.. Y/N I want to say sorr-" I swiftly cut her off mid sentence "Don't be, you had to defend yourself" I say, she sighs "Sorry that I was a bitch to you while you weren't able to control yourself" she said I silently nodded my head "I'm sorry for almost killing you as well as trying to kill you and for being asshole this entire time" I said looking away from her.

"But do you think, you can trust me now?" she asked me I looked at her then looked away again "I.. uhm.. I don't know" I responded unsure, she nods "We'll figure things out with time" she said I nodded "Oh also Alby said once you are more rested you will be completely free to do as you like" she said humming changing the mood around us both.

I smiled at her very much looking forward to the freedom "I very much look forward to being able to walk around without being watched or going insane at anyone" I say sighing with relief, Teresa gives me a smile "Yeah I bet you are, I can't imagine how it felt inside your mind then Y/N" she said I nodded gently "Yeah, it was weird.. Like I was completely out cold and don't really recall much of what happened other than the parts with you" I explain, we continue to talk about it for the next few hours and she then gets an idea "wait here i'm going to ask Alby something" she says to me, leaving then returning a few moments later "Alby said I can take you to watch the stars" she said I jumped up and we left the hut, heading outside, we watched the stars and she let me sit in her lap where I fell asleep.
