Layla was a 21 year old woman living in a small town called Erabos. The town was filled with all types of creatures! They were part human and part monster or just animal.
Layla was the only human in the small town but that didn't bother her from living there.

She was always alone except when she was with her band piers. Roxy, who was part fox, and Nate, who was part bunny.
Their band is called The Skulls, Layla was always known as momma skull because she's seen as a mother figure, plus no one knew her actual name. Nate and Roxy are the chaotic children so they're the little skulls. They always had fun and brought joy to peoples day.

One night when Layla was bored she decided to go for a walk in the "dark forest" as people call it, late that night. She has always loved the tales that were told behind the dark forest, so she figured she'd take a look for herself.
When she walked along the mossy stone path, the true beauty of the dark forest formed. The half moon shining down on the path and grass, making it a beautiful glowing sight to see. The light brought out the dark green leaves in the trees, and the cute wild animals running along.

Layla felt at peace in that forest, it was weird because people didn't dare step foot into this forest for some weird reason. It was probably just because they were scared the tales were fake but she knew they were all myths.

When Layla was walking around, she looked up at the moon and saw a weird shape underneath. It looked like a point of a triangle, like a roof of a building.
Her eyes squinted, trying try and make it out but it was too dark for her to see. So she decided to get off the stoned path and head into woods to the thing she saw.
When she reached what she saw, a huge dark castle was revealed. There were huge tan brick walls with iron gates. The walls had moss with roses while the gate had thorns and roses on it, lucky for her the gate was cracked open. It's like something was inviting her inside, calling her name in a whisper.

She saw an old lantern on the floor and picked it up. She always kept a lighter and knife with her just in case of emergencies.
She reached into her back pocket to grab her lighter to look for the on button on the lantern. She flicked the switch to turn on the dim lantern that gave just enough light to see 7 feet away from her, after everything was set up she put her lighter back up in her back pocket before putting her hand on the gate and cracking it open more than it already was to walk in.
She slowly walked through the gate and took a look around at the big castle. It was a really dark castle. It had moss, thorns, vines, and roses everywhere around it. It was the most beautiful thing she's seen in ages. A fantasy and a dream come true. Something Layla always had loved.
She slowly walked up the the huge door that had ancient pictures on it and slowly pushed it opened, Surprisingly it was light for a huge wooden door.

Layla held out the lantern and took a good look around. The inside was all black furniture and a grayish looking red. The rose vines lead into the window that was shattered so they were all over the walls of the castle, Leaving a wonderful scent in the air.

Laylas hand gently hovered over the rail of the stairs so her fingertips slide across the black smooth wood.
"I wonder who lived here. Why would someone leave this behind??" She mumbled to herself as her whispers echoed throughout the halls of the castle.
"Iv actually never heard of the tales of this castle.. I thought I knew all of them. Unless this one stayed hidden.." She mumbled to herself once again.

As walked down the hallway got up the stairs and walked down to the end of another hallway she found another thing of stairs but they were spiral stairs. The stairs that can start portals for spirits. But Layla didn't feel any negative energy so she simple went up them, they lead up to more parts of the castle, the tallest part to be exact.

The cold breeze from the shattered windows sends a shiver down Layla's spine causing her to stop and take a look around before going up the stairs again. Once she reached the top she walked through the doorway and saw a long hallway with a huge fancy door on it.

"Must be at the very top tower. The royals room.." Layla whispered before walking down that hallway and stopping at the door.
It was an oval like shape, in was black with red metal designs around it. It was the only door that was clean and didn't have any vines on it.
She reached her hand out to push the door opened but once she did the doors glowed and slowly opened.
Her eyes widened when the doors opened by themself. She took a step forward and peaked around the door.
When she peaked around the corner of the opened doors she saw a huge bedroom.

The bedroom was very luxurious, lots of dark red designs and black as the main color. It was very vampire like. It was her style but she remembers the stories of vampires. The vampires are the ones that cursed this town and its forest itself. They were the most dangerous things on earth, knowing they could kill too in .5 seconds with a simple bite.

She snapped back into reality when she spotted a black dusty piano, something she can play and have fun with in this spooky castle. Something that will definitely set the mood.

Layla slowly walked over and sat down in the seat and sat the lantern down on the top of the piano so she could see the keys.
The tips of her fingers landed on the keys of the piano and started to play. The side melody of the piano made her feel something inside her that she couldn't explain.

Her eyes were closed and enjoying the melody, until a deep growl came from behind her.
Her eyes widened and her body froze in place when she saw a huge shadow hover over her and the piano.
The tall figure stood so close to her, that she could feel his breath down her neck. She stood completely still in the silents, the deadly and awkward silents that sent shivers down her spine.

A good minute passed by before the tall figure finally spoke in his very deep and raspy voice.

"Who are you. And what are you doing in my castle?.." the dark figure growled.
