Y/N Pov
A few days later Newt helped me back to the treehouse "Easy now Y/N slow" Newt said helping me up the ladder from above he stood at the top ready to help me, he then helped me over to the couch as I was still limping quite bad, I slowly sit down but my hand brushes my chest which was very much sore I winced in pain as my hand did.
"Why didn't you just wait till you were more healed" Newt asked me, I shook my head instantly "No offence but I hated being stuck in that hut and I like the somewhat privacy I get being up here" I responded he nodded "I guess I can understand that, but are you sure you want to be alone up here?" he asked still worried I look around the tree "Yeah, it's cosy and have the most amazing view of the sun and glade here" I said smiling letting the sun warm up my skin taking my jacket off carefully."And if anything I'm away from hormonal young men" I chuckle which made Newt laugh too "Fair enough, but one question" he asked me I glanced at him having a feeling "what about the nightmare... or memories much rather.." he asked, I sat back down placing my hand on his shoulder "I'll be ok Newt, I've dealt with them last time" I said.
It had been a few weeks now since this 'cure' had worked on me and everything seemed to be returning to the normal cycle of things including the doors, everyone also returned to their fair share or working, except for me as Alby refused to let me do anything until I was full healed.
But it wasn't all bad I guess because he let me back into my tree house where I stayed most the day, Newt left to go off with Thomas in the fields to play tag with him and chuck I obviously couldn't do that with my injuries so I stayed up here watching them and taking in the sun as much as I possibly could get, but then the sun started to set meaning someone was going to visit with food soon, but there was a knock on the hatch early.
"Come in!" I call out, slowly standing up to greet the person at the hatch, it gently opened and Teresa popped her head in "Hey hope you don't mind, also am I in time?" she said "Not at all come in and in time for what?" I ask her, she smiles "To watch the sunset, also I needed to get away from the boys" she said as there was another knock at the hatch, Teresa opened it and helped Tara up "You mean we needed to get away from the boys, also I brought food, I see I made it then" she laughed we closed the hatch sitting out on the deck of the tree house all watching the sunset together but Tara didn't stay to the end of it setting.
She left after eating leaving myself and Teresa alone in the treehouse "Boys am I right, so hormonal" she said I chuckled nodding "oh most definitely" I said to her "I'm surprised they don't try coming up here to bother you" she says laughing "that's because I would kick their asses back down the ladder" I responded we both burst out laughing, she has a cute laugh I will be honest.
"You know, if you want to, you and Tara can stay up here for a couples days to get away from them if they are being too much of an annoyance" I said she smiled "Really, thank you i'll let her know tomorrow when I see her, but I'll stay tonight for sure" she said comfortably.
We talk for a few more hours before she helped me over to the couch before she went to the hammock for the night, both falling asleep the same time, but before I even knew it I was being shaken awake.
"Y/N wake up" Teresa whispers, I shoot up in a cold sweat, breathing rapidly as well, "uhm.." I went "You were screaming in your sleep.. again.." she said crouching in front of me placing a hand on my thigh "oh..." I whisper she looks concerned "this is the third time, you've been screaming, are you sure you are ok?" she says, I nod my head slowly "I am fine..." I said wiping the sweat and tears off my face once again.
"This isn't normal Y/N" she says pretty worried, I avoid making eye contact with her "Are you having more nightmares Y/N" she asks taking a seat looking at me with a concerned and worried look on her face "m-maybe.." I stutter out pausing for a second "They aren't nightmares though.. They are past memories.. Really bad ones too.." I say a tear rolls down my cheek.
"Do you want to talk about it?" Teresa asks I nod she goes silent listening "it starts in some facility type building I guess and they kept interrogating me about a group of people I think I knew there specifically about one of the girls, but I have zero clue who she is" I say as she nods rubbing my back.
"There's more too, me and this same girl I believe snuck out of a room and to one that looks similar to this place, and it even had a tree house like this one, we led me to the forest and inside of the tree house" I said "wow" she says before letting me continue on "I.. uh.." I stutter she smiled indicating to take my time "I.. Uhm.. I think she kissed me?" I said.
For a good moment Teresa didn't say a word she sat there in silence, I wondered what she was thinking about what I had just told her I knew it was a lot to take in, then she spoke after shifting her gaze "Did you just unintentionally uncloset yourself?" she asked.
