19 - Girls Time

Y/N Pov

Tara and Teresa entered the room again after I had gotten changed, both smile at me and I share one back at them both, we all take a seat on the couch, "Man that was a long day" I say curling my knees to my chest "It was wasn't it" Tara said Teresa nodding along "Yeah but a fun one" Teresa responded we all nodded, I lent back letting my eyes drift shut for a moment "But it comes with exhaustion" I say softly "True, especially around those boys" Teresa says "so, true but you guys make it sound like we did a lot" Tara says not seeming too exhausted unlike myself and Teresa.

"And anyways you two were doing a lot of play fighting with only each other" Tara says I shoot up my face going a little red at what was said, Teresa avoid eye contact with me also a little red looking "No idea what you mean sis" Teresa said, Tara chuckled "Uh, anyways you know i'm only joking" Tara laughs happily we spend the rest of the night talking and looking at the stars before Tara heads to her room leaving us both awake in mine.

We laid out on the couch as I let Teresa play with my hair "I don't think i've said this to you but you have nice hair Y/N" she says slowly and gently stroking my hair with her hands and running her hand through it, it was very relaxing "Thanks, you do too", she continued, managing to send me to sleep.

Teresa's Pov

Tara had headed to bed leaving myself and Y/N on the couch together for a while longer, I started playing with her hair as I couldn't resist myself, it was so soft and silky I loved it and I finally told her so "I never told you this but you have really nice hair" I said something along the lines and she continued to let me play with it to the point she fell asleep on me, and the warmth of her on me eventually soothed me enough that I found my eyes starting to drift shut themselves finally staying shut after five minutes, I then fell asleep as well.

Tara's Pov

I headed to bed not long after the girls had gotten changed and went straight to sleep, in my room I have no idea what happened, but I woke up in the morning leaving my room finding them asleep on the couch together, so I grabbed the blankets that were on the floor and covered them up with them before getting ready in my room and quietly leaving the tree house being so careful not to wake them at all.

I made my way to the food cabin for some much needed food, I entered the boys surprised to see me alone "Morning Tara, where are the other girls?" Newt asked pulling me a chair out to sit on "Thanks, they were still asleep, I think they stayed up late after they got back, I didn't want to wake them" I said respectfully, as Fry placed a plate of food in front of me "Here you go Tara, enjoy the food" Fry says smiling at me "I will, it smells great" I say smiling back at him.

Myself and the boys eat breakfast and sit and talk for a while about how we are doing what we think is on the outside if there even is one, I myself hadn't really thought about it hut it was nice to hear what the boys thought, we then decided to get on with the day choosing to let the two girls sleep after the fun and play fighting from yesterday figuring that the needed the day to recuperate themselves, but I did go leave them some food up there before I went to work just in case they awoke.

Teresa's Pov

My eyes slowly opened to the beautiful blue sky, noticing that Y/N was still sound asleep on my lap so looked so peaceful, I gently moved her so that I could stand up and stretch my legs as they felt so numb from lying there, I saw the note from Tara on the side table "Hey, you guys were asleep when I got up and I didn't want to wake you so I left you sleeping and brought you food" it read I smiled "Thanks sis" I whispered to myself before covering Y/N up and changing into some comfortable clothes before gently lifting her back up again laying her head on my lap as I opened a book to read, waiting for her to awake.

Y/N Pov

I felt the warmth of the sun hit my face and I gently opened my eyes adjusting to the light, to find myself on the couch laid on Teresa's lap she was reading a book, did she stay here with me even after obviously waking up herself? she glanced down and smiled "Good afternoon" she said I hadn't even realised I slept through the morning "hi" I said in a soft morning tone she giggled "you slept well, then" she said smiling at the fact I had finally gotten some actual sleep for the first time in a few weeks "Yeah felt nice, not to have any more bad dreams" I said smiling at her.

I sat up on the couch as I did she passed some food that Tara had left for us "Tara left it after seeing us asleep" Teresa said I started eating after finishing I went and got ready even though we were most likely staying up here with most of the day being gone "How did you sleep?" I asked her she glanced putting the book down "I actually slept quite well too" she said happy, then the hatch opened wide, it was Tara, "Oh? You guys are awake, well good afternoon" she said entering after having worked this morning "yeah" I said, after cleaning up she sat down with us and we had girls time.
