thirty eight

Joon-hee and Taeyang sat next to each other as they watched the principal giving his speech.

The younger scratched his head as he felt boredom. He pats on his nephew's head as the kid looked at him "are you enjoying?"He signed. The younger nodded as he earned a smile from his uncle.

"Byeol..take care of Gu-won....I'll be back"

"O-okay!"

Joon-hee walked away from the hall as he roamed around his old school. He felt refreshing as he walked through the corridor. He loved that school more than himself,words aren't enough to describe his love for the school.

He got inside the library as he mumbled "it was my favorite place to enjoy snacks..instead of attending classes!" He giggled as he looked around.

He walked around for a bit as he peeked qbove the shelves of the books. He widened his eyes as he encountered with 2 students making out,unaware about Joon-hee's presence.

He was about to scream due to shock but he felt someone's hands over his mouth stopping him from making any noise. He turned around as he muttered "hyung!"

"Yes..it's me Taeyang!!" He whispered as he glanced at the boys making out. "Do not disturb the Boys..come with me!"Said Taeyang as he grabbed Joon-hee's hands and quietly walked away.

Joon-hee followed Taeyang out of the library, he was utterly shocked about what he had just witnessed.

"You are still in shock!" Mentioned Taeyang as he glanced at the other. "Of course I am.." he answered as he looked at the older. "Who does all those things..at school?" Added the younger as he made a questioning face

"We did that at school as well.." The older mumbled under his breath. "Huh?" Joon-hee questioned, unable to hear what was said by the other. "Nothing!" Claimed Taeyang as he went into the basketball court.

"Aahh..I want to play..basketball..it's been so long.." stated Taeyang as he grabbed the ball. "Do you want to join me?" Asked the older. Joon-hee shooked his head as he answered "I'm not that good..I learnt it during senior years..but I'm afraid I forgot..how to play"

"Doesn't matter!" Claimed Taeyang. "Moreover it's not fun to play alone!" He further said. The younger chuckled as he joined the older.

Half an hour later both sat down on the ground breathing heavily after playing.

"You are still awesome at this!" Joon-hee complimented the older as the latter smiled."you too..you could have learn it before..then you would have a part of my team..at that time!" Stated Taeyang referring to the time he used to the captain of school's team.

"Stop exaggerating!"

"I'm not!" Taeyang claimed as he strokes the other's hair gently,as he said "You're good!". The younger stared at him with doe eyes because of his sudden touch. He fixed his hair as he awkwardly asked "what are you..doing?"

"I..uhm.. just-" Taeyang tried to explain but was cut off by the other. "Let's just go" Joon-hee said as he stood up and was about to walk away.

Taeyang quickly stood up as he held the other's hand making him stop. Joon-hee turned around,in dilemma.

"Joon-hee..I..I love you..very much!".

Joon-hee bit his lips trying to control his emotions.

"I really love you and..I don't want to lose you..not again" the older mentioned as he let the tears fall from his eyes.

Joon-hee softly caressed the other's cheeks as he wiped the tears from his eyes as he answered "hyung..I love you...too"

"Hmm?" Taeyang looked at him confusingly. "I also..love you" stated Joon-hee making the other feel elated.  Taeyang smiled at him but soon his smile faded away as he heard the other saying "but things..are better in this way!"

"What do..you..mean?" Taeyang asked as he frowned. "We both love each other but still we shouldn't be together?"

Joon-hee nodded as he looked down. "Look at me.. Kim Joon-hee" Taeyang asked. "I don't want to" the younger mumbled. Taeyang cupped the other's face,to make the other look at him as he noticed the other crying.

"W-why are you crying?: Taeyang asked worriedly as he saw the other breaking down.

"No..but..but why do you have to still love me..?" Joon-hee stated with a shaky breath. "You should just resent me..for.. for leaving you at your worse.." Joon-hee sniffed ad he further said "I..don't I don't deserve you.."

"Joon-hee..it was you for whom I was surviving.." stated the older as he looked into the other's eyes. "I never thought of giving up because of you..how could you just say- say that you don't- deserve me?" Taeyang claimed.

"I should..have stayed with you..I should have supported you..instead of leaving.." sniffed Joon-hee as he looked down. "Hyung..you- will never be..happy w-with me...I won't be able to make..make you happy " Joon-hee mentioned as he sobbed.

"I don't care if you can make me happy or not.." The older mentioned as he stared at the other intensely. "If you want to give me pain..or try to break me apart..I would still choose you"

Joon-hee could not bear anymore as he proceed to leave but was stopped as the older hugged him from back tightly as Taeyang rested his head on the other's shoulder,letting the tears fall, as he said "Joon-hee..I..I don't want to let you go again..please..please come back to me!" He begged as he started sobbing.

Joon-hee turned around slowly as they both looked at each other with tears in their eyes. The younger got closer as he hugged the other man as he hugged Joon-hee back tightly as if he would never let the other go.

They broke the hug as they stared at each other. Taeyang wiped the other's tears as he claimed "I'm never letting you go again!" He further added "not in this lifetime!"

Joon-hee smiled a bit as he said softly "I'll not either "

Taeyang chuckled as he bent down to other's height and caressed his cheeks and pressed his lips against Joon-hee's as the latter closed his eye lost in the kiss. He grabbed the other's shirt loosely as he kissed back.

They pulled away from the kiss after some time as he looked at esche other with smile on their face. Never had they thought that they would be together again.

"I love you!" The older stated stroking the other's head gently. "I love you too!" Joon-hee answered.
