Chapter 2: Going to Tempest

Within the far radius of the endless piles of snow and ice coalsced by the negative, inhabitable temperature of the winds gusting the castle's surroundings, the aura of a disastrous being was approaching the North.

Fear not, for it is not a threat but a friendly visit.

The ‘being’ that was approaching the North and to the ice castle was none other than Milim, who is doing her dear friend a small favor by saving him the time for going to Tempest manually.

Though she knew Guy could fly to Tempest at easily with his unmeasurable speed in flight. She'd teleport him there either way, because that's how she wants it today.

And also considering she disturbed his peace, it was a considerate and kindful act. Coming from someone like Milim, it was quite surprising, but dared not to question her actions. It wasn't like the demon lord protested against them anyway.

As expected, she was a late bird, being ten minutes late to the said and agreed time for her arrival. She was never on great terms with her time management and is usually carefree with her days. Even at times of importance and urgency, she remains the same childish girl, though it does depend on the kind of situation.

One noticed her unusual choice of clothes today, Guy was used to seeing her in the revealing ‘bikini-like’ outfit she usually wore. Now, it was more appropriate and suitable,

A boisterous laugh outburst upon her arrival, the usual lively and outgoing demeanor in her character. “Wahahaha!! I, the great Milim Nava!! Has arrived!!” 

   “Right…” Guy mumbled, sighing deeply as Milim's volume of laughter was making his ears bleed at the very minute. She has just arrived and is causing me a few troubles already…

  “So! I am bringing you to Tempest, where you will stay for… uhh.. one day for now!”
“Yeah, I know that. I'm not deaf or obtuse for your information.”

   “So… I want to.. uh.. greet my aunt before we leave for a sec’, you know where she is?” Milim asked, tilting her head as she asked, surprisingly polite.

   “She's right there, greet her if you want.” Guy pointed to the door on the right, Milim nodding and coming in immediately.

Her attitude towards Guy was carefree, no word for even the slightest bit of respect. But to Velzard, or whenever she was just around, somehow, she was polite and had good manners for her. No one knows what the lady did, but some certain individuals may need to know her secrets to discipline…

After a few minutes, Milim came outside the door quietly and nodded at Guy, gesturing that they were prepared to leave now.

Milim hesitantly grabbed my hand, her face uncomfortable and a hint of exasperation as she grasped it.

"Let's go."

In the blink of an eye, they were standing at a nearby mountain that displayed the entire nation of what the nation Tempest appeared to be. Fluttering his eyes as he felt a strong gust of the warm yet cold breeze that waved silently, small particles of dust and leaves that came with it.

The houses for citizens seemed well-made and the neatly built insecting roads and the tapestry of trees that surrounded the entire nation. The large building standing stiff and sturdy in the front center of the entire nation.

Guy couldn't lie, everytime he glanced at the structure of this certain nation, he could tell how much Rimuru had cherished it.

The architecture itself was not only advanced in every detail, but it was also precise and elegant despite its simplicity. Even from this far, such artwork is noticed fully.
