20 - Hide n Seek

Y/N Pov
"Quick let's go! Follow me!" I whisper to Tara and Teresa as we bolted to the forest, Newt and Thomas going the other direction through the fog that covered the glade, we were all playing hide n seek with Chuck.

"Ready or not, I'm coming to find you!" I heard chuck yell, "go quicker" Teresa whispered we stopped when we had gotten to the tree line all out of breath, I then jump into a tree as the others hide, "Oh guys~ where are you~" Chuck yells singing the words, I can see him getting closer and closer as he just about passes the tree I am hidden in as well as passing Teresa and Tara.

I then get to watch as he had obviously seen them both, circle back and sneak up on the pair of them now hiding together "Boo!" he yells scaring the living hell out of them I contain myself trying not to laugh giving away my spot, they hadn't seen where I went so I knew I was some what safe from Chuck actually finding me.

"Damnit!" I heard Teresa yell, Tara and Chuck both laughing at her "Now help me find Thomas and Newt" Chuck said not noticing I hadn't been found either, well I say the girls didn't know where I was but that would be a lie because Teresa actually knew as she had helped me into the tree, she made sure they went ahead of her before she looked discretely up at me.

"Don't worry I won't tell them, I want you to win" she whispered winking at me, I thought it was really sweet of her not to give me up when she really could id she wanted "Thank you Teresa" I whisper softly not trying to be too loud in case they were still close to me, she smiled before running off.

I felt this warm sensation running through my whole body and it was like I had butterflies in my stomach too, I continued to watch them from the tree as I managed to just see them find Thomas in his spot "I found you!" Tara yelled grabbing Thomas stopping him from running away to another spot, Thomas sighed "dang thought I did really well" he said.

"Nope, we found ya, now where is Newt" I heard Teresa ask them completely distracting them from the fact I was still hidden right above them as they had walked to where I was safely hidden, That's when Newt appeared behind them thinking he had won, which is when Newt himself frown noticing I was still hidden "You idiots" he laughed shaking his had, Teresa couldn't hold her laughter any longer and busted out laughing, everyone turned looking at her "Wait? Y/N hasn't been found?!" Chuck realises, "yep" Teresa laughs cutely.

"Ter, sis what do you know" Tara asks her, as Teresa composes herself "You really think I'm going to give her up, That's right I know where she is I helped her" Teresa told them controlling her laughs "Wow~" Thomas went shaking his head "Now that's what we call best friends huh" Newt said soft spoken.

The guys went off away from the tree once again Teresa this time climbed the tree herself, I pulled her up and we both quietly laugh "I can't believe that they haven't found me, I've done the most rookie hide n seek move ever" I whisper she nods "Yeah, I really don't know, and Newt gave himself up without looking to see who was there" she said.

Twenty minutes later they all give up noticing Teresa must have gone to hide with me again so they didn't get to bug her about where I was, I then heard my name get called "Y/N! Just come out already you win!" Chuck yells loudly, we wait until they are below us then jump out the tree scaring them all.

"Ah the sound of victory!" I yell as I jumped before them all as they jump, "I also technically win, because I won the bet that you would win" Teresa laughed that's when the other four realised Teresa had hidden me so that we would both win the bet set on who would win both of us just bend over laughing leaning on each other gently.

"Alright you lot, let's go I can smell dinner" Newt said, we all nodded heading to the cabin where Fry was cooking food, taking our seats myself and Teresa had just finished laughing as we entered, Alby noticed "What's up with those two" he asked "they pulled a sneaky move to win hide n seek" Tara explained "I hid Y/N so that we would win the bet on who would win, and the hide it from them and hide with her" Teresa further explained I nodded as the food was placed on the table.

We all started to dig in, it was nice we hadn't had a meal like this with everyone there in quite some time, I believe it was just after I arrived, so it had been a while, We all spend the next few hours sitting and talking together.

Before myself and Teresa get up from our seats, looking very tired "Hey guys, we're going to head back to the tree house and get some much needed rest" Teresa says everyone nods know I am still slightly recovering and we were both exhausted from hiding, we leave the hut and head slowly back to the tree house, but Teresa notices i'm really tired and I feel her scoop my up in her arms "Hey, It's ok I got ya, just a little more, then you can sleep" she says softly as we reached the ladder.

She helped me up the ladder climbing behind me so that I wouldn't risk falling off it, she then caught me as I went to fall from exhausted, "sleep well" she whispered placing me onto the couch.
