"What would you like?" The cashier asked Hyeongjun, and he quickly looked at the menu again. "The soda please" He took out his wallet and handed over the money.

The cashier handed him the can and the receipt. "Make sure to read the receipt" The man said right before Hyeongjun left.

He started walking away, he then remembered what the (handsome) cashier had told him. So, he unfolded the paper and noticed something written in thick, black marker.

It was a full name and ten digits underneath. The boy felt himself blush, it was the first time someone gave him their number. So it was obviously a big thing for him.

But he thought that maybe the cashier meant to give the number to the girl right after him in the queue.

He was pretty sure, because of this move, that the cashier was definitely an extrovert. Or maybe it was because in his mind, he could never even think of doing that.

Hyeongjun decided to add the number to contacts and send a message. He wasn't expecting an answer immediately as the coffee shop was rather busy at 10am.

The two would continue talking for multiple weeks. And Hyeongjun would often go to the coffee shop. His order was really simple, he knew it, but knowing that someone would remember it. He felt special. No one has ever acted this way with him.

This day though, it was special in- as Jooyeon's coworker, Kwak Jiseok, called them- Joohan history.

Jooyeon had finally built up the courage. Built up the courage to ask Hyeongjun on a date.

His friend, Gunil, had helped him get ready for his date. It was his first date ever.

"What if he doesn't like me?" Jooyeon asked, looking at the mirror. Gunil was fixing the younger boy's hair. After all, Jooyeon had helped him on his first date with his current boyfriend, Kim Jungsu. But he's irrelevant for this story.

"Then he's crazy" Jooyeon laughed, Gunil was amazing at making him feel better. Truly an amazing leader for their band.

"You know, if Hyeongjun likes you then we can have another Guitarist in our band!" Jooyeon had spent hours talking about Hyeongjun during their practices. So, he obviously talked about how Hyeongjun played Guitar.

"And you should be going on your date now!" Gunil pushed him down the stairs and out of the door.

Jooyeon was nervous the whole way until arriving at a coffee shop. Not the one he worked at, another one.

But as soon as he arrived and laid eyes on Hyeongjun, all his initial anxiety left his body.

"Hyeongjun! Y-you look good" The younger boy looked at him, scanning every single inch of his body. Hyeongjun blushed at the compliment before thanking him.

"What about you Jooyeon!" He returned the compliment with much hesitation.

"I'm guessing you'd like soda?" Hyeongjun nodded, Jooyeon stood up and ordered both of their drinks. In Hyeongjun's eyes, Jooyeon was perfect for him. Not only was he loud and extroverted, but he could also speak up when needed to. Something he couldn't do. He didn't want to admit it at first, but he truly fell for the cashier.

"So, you agreed to go on a date with me!" Jooyeon smiled thinking about the message he had sent. Hyeongjun nodded, happy.

"And I obviously asked you, cause I like you" That was the directness Hyeongjun would never have, or at least with asking things.

"And I hope you do too" Jooyeon continued talking, Hyeongjun was laying attention to every single word.

"So that we can be boyfriends" Hyeongjun thought for a while, he knew that he liked Jooyeon. He really liked Jooyeon in fact. But he wasn't sure if he could date Jooyeon. He was nowhere near good enough for him in his opinion.

Jooyeon was completely out of his league, he didn't know how this boy could like him. But apparently, he did.

"Are you sure?" Hyeongjun wasn't sure Jooyeon wanted to be seen with him.

"Of course! So, what do you say?" Jooyeon held his breath, he anxiously waited for the answer.

"Sure then, if you really want to" Hyeongjun smiled, Jooyeon couldn't believe it, he was extremely happy to now be dating the guy of his dreams.

And it all started because of soda.
