After speaking with Ritesh sir, Nandini goes directly to her cabin and begins her work. In the evening, the door of her cabin swings open with a bang, causing her to look up and see a handsome man in his mid-thirties standing there, a playful smile on his face, wearing a white coat with a stethoscope draped over his arm. Upon seeing him, she rolls her eyes and shakes her head, continuing her work.
With a dramatic expression, he says, "No hello and Hey, Bunny? where are your manners?"
She glares at him and replies, "How many times do I have to remind you not to call me Bunny in the hospital, Arnav?"
Arnav smirks and responds, "You are my Bunny, and I will always call you Bunny. Right, Bunny?" He pinches her cheeks to irritate her.
Nandini asks, "Why are you here?"
Arnav replies, "Are you done with your work? If so, let’s go. I’m finished."
Nandini responds, "No, I’m still not done. I need to go on a night check and then read the patients' cases."
Arnav interrupts, "How much time will that take?" before she said anything he continue "You have one hour to complete your work; I’m waiting."
Glaring at him, she starts reading cases and preparing medications and files. After taking her coat and stethoscope, she leaves for the night check while he scrolls through his phone, replying to patient emails and queries. He doesn’t want to leave her alone, knowing how neglectful she is when it comes to her health. The only thing she seems to know is work; she loses track of time and often stays late. It has become his daily routine to drop her off at home, and if he misses even one day to remind her to leave, she will inevitably stay late.
After returning, they both head to the parking lot. On the way, they encounter someone they both dislike: Rohit and Anya.
Anya greets them, "Hey, nice to see you guys after so long, isn’t it, Rohit?" Her words are laced with sweetness, while Rohit glares at them, which they ignore as they continue walking.
But Anya calls out again, "Hey, where are you two going?"
Rohit snaps, "Don’t you know? Anya. She is going to sleep with him," his tone filled with anger.
Arnav is about to respond, but Nandini stops him by holding his hand and says, "Let’s not waste our time; we’re running late."
Rohit clenches his jaw, his fists tightening as he watches Nandini hold Arnav's arm. With jealousy dripping from his voice, he says, "You seem eager to fuck by him, don’t you, Nandini?"
Nandini retorts, "Well, I’m not answerable to you." She drags Arnav with her as they walk away, leaving Rohit staring after them.
Anya adds, "Let’s go; we need to get Mom’s medicine," and they both leave.
At the parking lot, Arnav pulls Nandini aside and starts shouting, "Why did you stop me, Nandu? I would have killed that bastard! How dare he say those things to you?"
Shaking her head, she replies, "And then what would happen? Nothing, right? Arnav, this is their everyday routine. They want a reaction from us, but we can’t give them that satisfaction, so it’s better to stay quiet."
Arnav insists, "But how long will this continue, Nandini? Every single time they do this, I can’t stand to hear someone speak badly about you. Why don’t you understand, Bunny?" He holds her cheeks in his hands.
Nandini responds sadly, "This is what is written in my fate."
Arnav releases her cheeks and raises his voice, "No, you are writing this in your fate! Look at him—he’s married with a son, and you’re still mourning your loss. Why can’t you just move on, Nandu? We can’t stand to see you like this!"
