Niharika got dressed again and was using a towel to pat dry her hair. (Third time of the day, ufff)
As she approached her room's window, she noticed that everyone was playing Holi in silence.
However, she could not take her eyes off the main gate when a car pulled up in front of the Rajvanshi estate. She was attempting to identify the owner of that vehicle.
After a short while A couple in their later years exited the car with a young boy, maybe 20 years old.
Niharika's eyes widened with shock and surprise as she sees the three of them step outside.
Knowing who they are caused tears to well up in her eyes. Her towel slipped from her grasp, and she bolted for the door.
She unlocked the door, dashed down the hallway, and went downstairs.
She observed the trio coming through the main door of the mansion. Niharika ran in their direction, hugging the elderly man when she got there.
"Papa." Niharika spoke just one word, hiccupping. She was crying uncontrollably.
And her father held her tightly in his arms. Seeing her like this always reminds him that they had sacrificed their daughter for the sake of their reputation.
She is finally safe in her father's arms, which has been her safest haven up to this point. Tears filled her mother's eyes as well.
She steps forward and gives Niharika's hair a tender pat. Niharika, though, continued to cry.
Every member of the family is watched the scene unfold before them. And there were tears in everyone's eyes.
