I was crouched in the bathroom, slumped against the wall. Fuck, what is wrong with me?

A soft knock pulled me from my thoughts, Calum's voice coming from the other side, "Are you okay?"

I rubbed my faces over my face, "Yeah, Yeah, I'm good."

I could hear shuffling, assuming he sat down. What have I gotten myself into?

"Babe, please just come out of the bathroom."

"Cal, I can't show my face at the ceremony, I can't," I said, standing from the floor to unlock the white door. Calum was cradled on the floor, looking up when I removed the barrier.

He jumped up quickly, "It'll be fine, I'll be with you and so will Lydia, I won't let Michael near you."

I searched his eyes for a lie but all I could see was simmering anger and truth.

I bought the dress with Lydia a few weeks ago, 5SOS' management organizing a banquet-type ceremony to celebrate one year since their first Album came out. It was a huge milestone for all of the boys. Even without my relationship with Michael, Luke was my brother and I wanted to support him. Or at least, I did want to.

I was back in my apartment in 20 minutes, Calum's tanned figure following behind me with a smoothie for Lydia. I climbed the ladder to the top of the loft, seeing Lydia scrolling down her Macbook. While being so caught up in her tumblr dash, I was able to pinch her sides, a scream breaking the silence in the room.

"Jesus Christ, you scared me to death!" she exclaimed, hitting my arm. I smiled, walking over to our closet.

"Luke drove Michael home last night and Ashton said he's not dead so I guess that's a plus," she said, scrolling again.

"I don't even want to look at him tonight," I said, making a gagging noise afterwards. I tried my best to make strange humour show through my sadness, knowing Michael wasn't worth my tears.

"So did anything happen with Calum last night? I saw you two–"

"Calum, you can come up, you know," I cut her off, wanting to wait till we're alone to tell her about the nights events.

He peeked his head up, "One mango smoothie for Lydia Chapman."

Lydia gasped, "Gimme, Gimme, Gimme!"

He came up to the top, handing her the drink before following me into the closet.

I was pulling at hangers, attempting to find the new addition to my dress collection.

Calum wrapped his arms around my waist, resting his head on my shoulder.

"I think you'd look really good in red."

I looked back at him, "Did you look?! My dress is red!" I laughed, watching him shrug and smirk.

"My dress shirt is red, I don't know if it's the same shade but hey, we match," he said, watching me finally pull the dress bag from the rack.

He attempted to grab the hanger, my wrist twisting to pull it away from him, "Nope! You'll see it tonight! Go home and get ready!"

"Oh, come on!" he whined, crossing his arms.

I shook my head, pointing to the door of the closet.

He had his jacket over his arm, putting his sunglasses on, "I'll pick up you and Lydia later, yeah? I'll have Ash with me!"

"Sounds lovely, see you later," I said, watching him lean into me. A long kiss was pressed to my lips, his fingertips holding my jaw. He pulled away, smiling.
