"Cutie" her girlfriend shouted from the kitchen.
"Yes, Nini?" Lisa responded, holding back the urge to roll her eyes at the nickname her girlfriend called her by.
"Wifey can you see if Lego is in the room?"
Lisa, who was lying on the couch, put a pillow on her head and sighed.
"Sweetness? Did you hear me?"
The Thai woman pressed her face hard on the pillow, she really wanted to scream at her girlfriend but she couldn't, it wouldn't be right, Jennie is just being loving, a good girlfriend... but if Lisa hears another horrible and sweet nickname she will will lose it
"sweetheart"
"Aghh" she shouted as she threw the pillow somewhere in the living room and hit the couch.
"Are you ok?" Jennie asked when listening to her
"Yeah...yeah, I just tripped..." she looked around her "with one of the cat toys."
"Ok, be careful baby"
Lisa and Jennie have been together for almost a year, Lisa was always a very loving person, she had no concept about personal space and Jennie was pretty much the same. The brunette was always hugging her, holding her hands, kissing her or simply touching her. When they were together there was not a second in which she and her girlfriend were not in contact, there is clearly nothing wrong with this.
Lisa quickly got used to the fact that Jennie could be even more affectionate than her and she loved that since it's not a side that others can see very often in Jennie, when they were friends it was Lisa who initiated most of the interactions, while depending on her mood, Jennie would either play along with her or frown until Lisa slowly backed away to give her space. Fortunately when they became a couple that changed but something new arrived, something that no matter how hard Lisa tried she has not been able to accept and that is the horrible nicknames that Jennie loves.
Probably since they became girlfriends, Jennie has only called her by her name once or twice because she always makes up some "cute" nickname that Lisa hates. Don't get her wrong, she loves everything about Jennie but there are things that she just can't stand but she doesn't have the heart to tell Jennie that she doesn't like it and make her sad.
Jennie loves sweet nicknames and Lisa thought she could get used to them but it's not like she just call her "baby" or "Honey" she makes one up every day and it's very annoying. And Lisa knows that she is willing to give up a lot for Jennie but this will be the exception, she will never be able to live with the nicknames and she knows that one day she will have to tell her but for now she just has to be a good girlfriend and tough it out.
"Jennie, Lego must be in the room. Do you want me to bring him?" Lisa asked after looking for the cat and going to the kitchen.
"No, no, I can go get him later" Jennie said, kissing her cheek and returning to her work.
Lisa nodded and sat at the kitchen counter watching her girlfriend.
"Look at this!" The brunette exclaimed excitedly, she approached Lisa with a tray full of cookies and offered her one.
The blonde accepted excitedly and almost moaned at the taste.
"Is it good, love?"
"Hmmm"
Jennie laughs, her girlfriend is adorable
"Can I have another one?" Lisa asks excitedly.
"No, they are for Rosé and Irene. Remember that they are coming to pick me up, we will go to Irene's house"
