Out of Reach (Sungchan x Reader)

Y/N had a huge crush on the guy in their math class. His name was Sungchan and he was tall, handsome, smart, and kind. The only problem was: Y/N was short, shy, and an average student.
Sungchan never even noticed them.
Sungchan always sat two seats away from Y/N in math class. Y/N sat next to Sungchan's best friend Shotaro and Sungchan sat on the other side of Shotaro. Y/N had given up on Sungchan after 5 weeks of him not noticing them...but then something happened.

Y/N walked into math class on a random Tuesday morning and found someone sitting in their seat.
"Umm excuse me..." Y/N said quietly.
"Eunseok! Get out of their seat! They were there before you," Sungchan said.
Eunseok apologized to Y/N and moved to a seat on the other side of Sungchan and Shotaro. Sungchan smiled at Y/N and Y/N shyly smiled back and sat in their seat.

-LATER-
Y/N decided to be brave and talk to Sungchan because why not. They walked up to him as he was about to leave.
"Hey! Thanks for helping me get my seat back," Y/N said.
Sungchan smiled. "No problem! I know Eunseok can be a bit intimidating sometimes. If you ever need to, you can have my seat."
Y/N smiled. "That's very kind of you."
"I'll see you around," Sungchan said.
Y/N's heart started racing but they couldn't let their fears stop them. Now was their chance.
"Sungchan wait!"
Sungchan turned around.
"Would you like to meet me for coffee tomorrow?"

Y/N knew this was a bad ide-

"Sure! I was going to suggest we get to know each other better. I'll see you tomorrow then!" Sungchan said happily.
Y/N smiled and said goodbye to him and they both parted ways. They both were excited about their date tomorrow.
