It was a busy night more busy than ever, It only made sense it was Christmas Eve. I looked through my office window and let out a *sigh* I was pretty exhausted from all the work I did .
I decided to go home for the night , getting up and leaving the building walking down the road as I came to a pause. I looked at the traffic light waiting for it to turn green ,that's when a kid ran pass me. My eyes widen in shock as I saw a truck speeding down the road , I quickly rushed and pushed the kid out of the road and took the hit from the truck instead . I fell to the ground as I heard the screams of the people around me and the faint sounds of the ambulance before my eyes closed on me.
I slowly opened my eyes and a bright light appeared before it slowly vanished.I blinked twice before realizing that I wasn't in the hospital.I began to panic, I looked around and saw that I was in a garden next to a well ."Whats the problem, maid?" I heard a voice which made me flinch it was a cold and deep voice. I slowly turned around and looked at the owner of the voice, it was a boy who was around the age of 14 or 15 for the most not to mention but he also wore weird clothes like clothes you would see people in the 1800-1900s wear. I started to doze off into my own world wondering why he was wearing that ,"HEY!!! I'M TALKING TO YOU" he shouted which caught me off guard . "Um sorry.. but do you know the way out off here I'm a bit lost" I said with a nervous laugh he looked at me like if I had said something wrong.
