yasa's marijuana indulgence was no secret, however she never excepted it to kill her.

because it didn't.

she was born into a wealthy family, enough riches to buy every farmland in the east — yasa's single mother inherited money from her late father, she never questioned how it was originally obtained because she didn't give a shit. her mother was paranoid, building concrete around her daughters bedroom so she wouldn't be harmed. yasa never understood why she never let her go outside, but the day she saw red creeping from the bottom of her cell door.

"mother?" yasa called out. it was 18:00, her mother would surely be feeding her by now. during the night hours she'd be forced into her bedroom for safekeeping, winter was the worst because the sun set so early. she stood up from her mattress, bare feet on the cold concrete as she approached the door.

"mother, i'm hungry." she continued calling for her mother, but to no avail. she stepped back, wishing to sleep the night away — but she felt something warm against her bare toes.

she glanced down, but upon doing so she noticed red stained to the bottom of her big toe. that's when she noticed the expanding puddle of blood creeping through the crack in her door. she stepped back, startled by the blood that was now on the floor. who's was this... her mothers?

she grabbed ahold of her hair, quickly pulling a bobby pin from her bangs. she shoved it into the lock on her cell, fidgeting with the lock before she managed to crack it open. after picking it, she opened her cell door to find herself staring down at her mothers corpse.

yasa screamed, and before she knew it she was running, running into the dark wilderness with bare feet being beaten by rocks and twigs. eventually, she stopped running. she placed her arm on a tree stump, resting for a moment as she processed what she just saw.

her mother was dead, did this make her orphaned? no, she didn't want to think of this right now. her mother was obviously murdered, and she had to get as far away from the scene as she could. she stared into the wilderness, surrounded by trees and fog for miles.

a twig snapped behind her, and she spun around faster than she ever had in her life.

HOLY SHIT ITS COREY TAYLOR FROM SLIPKNOT

he lunged forward at yasa, shoving a fist through her eye as she begged for help. but her pleads meant nothing to this feral creature, the only concern it had was losing yasa's blood to the soil. as pain overtook yasa's body, everything started to go blank.

she thought of her life, her fathers death — and now her mother's death. if she were to have gone to her room five minutes later, maybe she could have defended her mother against this beast. but now, she was going to die alongside her parents. she felt her flesh helplessly ripping as her eyes shut, orbs surrounded her and she felt comfort in these creatures. these fixtures of light quickly turned into candles, illuminating her mind as she processed.

she was dead.
