"WOOO!" Harper and Saraphine shouted in unison, their voices blending with the crowd's excitement. Laughter filled the air as they enjoyed the lively atmosphere of the concert. Renée's voice soared through the venue as she sang "The Wedding Song," captivating the audience with each note.
Harper couldn't help but be in awe of her talented girlfriend. Despite the sweat glistening on Renée's brow, her energy and passion were infectious, drawing Harper deeper into the music. She swayed to the rhythm, feeling the lyrics resonate within her.
"You are my one, you set my world on fire," Harper sang along, her voice intertwining with Saraphine's. They held each other's hands, their connection strengthening as they shared this moment of joy and celebration.
"I know there's Heaven, but we must be higher (we must be higher)
I'm gonna love you 'til my heart retires
Forever will last
I think it went something like that," they sang with renewed enthusiasm, their voices blending into the chorus with the rest of the crowd.Harper sighed in exasperation as she felt the familiar urgency of needing to use the restroom. "I have to pee, again!" she shouted over the music to Saraphine, her voice barely audible amidst the booming sound.
Saraphine groaned in response, clearly sympathetic to Harper's frequent bathroom trips. "Really?! Again!?" she exclaimed, preparing to accompany Harper.
But Harper stopped her, placing a hand on Saraphine's arm. "No, you stay here. It's fine, I'll go on my own," she insisted, her tone firm.
Saraphine hesitated, concern etched on her face. "Are you sure? The break time is almost here, I can seriously come with you."
"Sara, stay," Harper repeated, her voice carrying a hint of sternness. She appreciated Saraphine's willingness to support her, but she also wanted her friend to enjoy the concert without any interruptions.
With a nod of understanding, Saraphine reluctantly stayed behind, keeping a watchful eye on Harper as she waddled through the crowd, making her way to the restroom. The venue's lavish decor caught her attention, momentarily distracting her from her discomfort.
As Harper entered the restroom, she marveled at its elegance. The pristine tiles, soft lighting, and luxurious amenities created a serene atmosphere amidst the chaos of the concert. She took a moment to appreciate the brief respite from the excitement outside.
However, fate had a different plan in store for Harper. As she made her way to the back of the restroom, she caught sight of a familiar face. It was Kevin, her baby's father, standing there with a mix of remorse and determination on his face.
Harper's shock was evident as she processed Kevin's unexpected presence at the concert. "Kevin?" she uttered, her voice filled with disbelief. "W-What are you doing here at a concert?"
