Fear spread words, despair, and pain,
The soul shattered, torn without love.
Death shouted loudly, chaos became lord.
The wild sea roared, in its shameless fury,
My essence trembled, in an anguished cry.
No way out in the labyrinth, a heart without brightness.
But a voice echoed, a whisper of dawn,
The Lord, my savior, in his eternal warmth.
Healing and life brought to my languishing being.
