Ever since Hyunjin heard him for the first time that one late afternoon— when he struggled to keep himself together and sought help —he couldn't take the angel with a voice as deep as a demon out of his head.
He tried so hard to move on with his life, but the harder he tried the harder that voice bounced back leaving him dumbfounded.
"Why?" he asked, "You crawled yourself through the phone and settled deep inside my heart,"
Hyunjin was a very busy man.
He is a renowned artist and owner of a bustling art gallery located in the heart of Seoul. He was always pressed for time, with deadlines looming and managers breathing on the back of his neck.
That was the sole reason why he wanted Felix out of his head.
He needed to focus his energy on painting and delivering his work on time.
He simply couldn't afford to waste time on someone he didn't know personally.
He couldn't afford to waste time on someone he had only spoken to once.
However, Felix occupied every single thought that bloomed in Hyunjin's head throughout the day.
And now even his work is being affected by him.
A deep and long sigh could be heard echoing from wall to wall in his painting studio, "Why is this piece so heartbreaking, Hyunjin?"
"That is all I could come up with. Take it or leave it," Hyunjin mumbles under his breath, as he cleans the million brushes he had to use for the same piece his art dealer— Seo Changbin—, is currently complaining about.
"But— this makes me want to cry," Changbin says gesturing to the canvas still attached to its easel, "I am just trying to figure out what happened to you. Your pieces were always about love, flowers and pretty landscapes... This right here is— I don't know,"
Hyunjin sucks air through his teeth, "I don't know what else to tell you. That is what I felt like painting for you— Like I have already mention... you can take it or leave it. I don't really care,"
"Is there a reason why your paintings are so— sad?" the older asks.
"No," Hyunjin lies... there was a reason for his art to show only but the sadness he had in his heart...
It was him, Felix.
He was the culprit for his change of mood. Felix's presence in Hyunjin's mind was a constant distraction, and he couldn't shake off the idea of him.
Days later— it didn't matter how deep in his art he dug himself into— Hyunjin found himself drawn to Felix like a magnet, unable to resist thinking about him and wondering what it would be like to get to know him better.
