After Geto left, Gojo went to look for him. But he couldn't find him; it was almost like he had disappeared from the world. Gojo went to Geto's family. They lived in an old town with very few people. It took an hour by train to get there, it really was a beautiful place. After all, it was Geto's hometown. He knew where he used to live because of all the school papers he left behind.
"Good afternoon. Is Suguru here?" he asked the woman who opened the door.
"Eh... who are you?"
"I'm just an old classmate. I haven't seen him in a while."
"He doesn't live here anymore. Leave."
She said and then closed the door so loud that Gojo's body jumped a little.
Of course he wouldn't be living here. His parents never cared about him. They just didn't accept him for who he was. They wanted something Geto was not. Gojo ran out of ideas. Knowing Geto he was probably far away, in a place he could never get in touch. But he didn't want to give up, not yet. He had to be there for when Geto decided to come back, because he will, eventually, one day.
Gojo kept visiting Geto's hometown. He did this for 10 years without stopping, every day. An hour on the train was nothing if he had the possibility of seeing Geto. At least from afar. However, he did not see him, not even once. He didn't even have his contact because he had decided to break his cellphone the day Geto left. He felt stupid.
But he had to move on, right?
He received a letter in his mail. One that was way different from the others. This surprised him because the only letters he received were for the bills he didn't have the money to pay. He opened the letter; it was a simple text he did not recognize at first. A location and a day, it didn't have the name of who sent it, but he knew immediately who it was.
Nishi-Shinjuku. December 24th.
It was him, Geto. He wanted to see him. He came back to him. They would be together again. He'll tell him how much he had missed him, how much he loved him. How these ten years without him were like hell. How he found out what love meant not much after he left, because a life without Geto didn't make sense.
Gojo felt his heart ache like never before. He felt like throwing up. He would see him again, after 10 years. He must look different now, he thought. He wanted to see the man Geto had become, how his face looked, how much his hair had grown or if he had decided to cut it. He hoped the last choice wasn't the case. But God, how he missed him.
"Suguru..."
The street was full of people, the location he sent to him was a place they never had been before. The place was surrounded by shops and in front of them was a place of fast food, one of the famous Kentucky Fried Chicken. The man was wearing black from head to toe, his black hair was so long that it could almost touch his waist. Gojo only saw his back and he knew immediately who it was.
"Satoru." Geto said while turning around.
They looked at each other for more than a minute, and Geto just gently smiled at him. That smile, the smile that Gojo dreamed about for more than 3652 days, the man he could never stop thinking about, the reason for his existence was right there, in front of him, a few meters apart.
"You are here." Gojo said.
"Yes I am." Geto laughed.
"God, I missed you." Gojo said and then he walked closer to Geto, he came so close that now their faces were centimeters apart. Their lips almost touching. Before Geto could say anything, he felt Gojo's lips pressing against his. The man with white hair was desperate. Not even leaving him to breathe, he still hadn't changed his aggressive way of kissing, even after all those years.
