I woke up early the next morning so I went to have a smoke. I decided to start smoking again after the miscarriage. I needed something to de-stress me. I inhaled some of the smoke and then felt two arms wrapped around my waist.

"Smoking is not good for you, you know?" He said.

"You say that every time but it's still not gonna change anything" I said.

"Yeah, but I'm just looking out for you. Besides, it's a beautiful day outside. Wouldn't you rather enjoy the fresh air instead of inhaling all that smoke?" He said.

"Lan. I want to stop. I really do but it's not that easy" I said

"I know it's not easy, Lena. But remember, I'm here for you, through thick and thin. Let's take this day as a fresh start. We can find ways to help you quit together. Just promise me you'll try, okay?" He said. I hated the fact that he wanted me to quit. Would he rather I go back to cutting myself?

"fine. let's not count the three I had before you woke up..." I said. I could see the shock on Lando's face as he heard that I had 3.

"Lena, I understand that you're struggling with this, but... three?" He said.

"I know... it's bad. but I just had one and then I wanted more and then more" I said.

"It's not just bad, Lena. It's dangerous. We really need to work on this together. Let's make a pact – every day we wake up and you'll try our best to resist the temptation" he said.

"It's not that dangerous. it's fine" I said.

"No, it's not fine, Lena. Smoking can lead to serious health issues and affect your overall wellbeing. You deserve better than that" he said.

"I really don't" I said. In that exact moment Lando took my tobacco and poured the whole thing out over the balcony. "What the fuck, Lando!!!!" I screamed.

"tough love, sweetheart. I'm getting you off these cancer sticks and if throwing your stuff over the balcony is the way to get you to stop then so be it" he said. I was insanely pissed off.

"how about I throw myself off the balcony" I said with a massive smile.

"Not funny, Lena" he said while dragging me inside.

We flew back to Monaco that day. A couple weeks later I went out to get some more tobacco. I needed to smoke again and I had a message sent to me. From my father. I thought I had blocked him. Turns out he got a new number

You have the rest of today to break up with Lando. If you don't, I will kill him. You know exactly who I am, Lena
