June 21'

Mingi was star struck (by lightning).
He was currently lying in a hospital reminiscing the time before his head felt like an explosion and his body was covered in soot and ash.

San his best friend was watching over him curiously, rethinking the events that had lead them here.

They had been walking sans cat in the middle of the hot humid summer when mingi had looked up to the sky and noticed a strange looking figure in the clouds. Mingi had pointed him out to san, exclaiming his astonishment for seeing the british prime minister shining down at him before his mouth opened wide, expelling a bolt of electricity into his body. He remembered calling the ambulance while his cat jumped around in panic and his tears of the journey there. Loosing his best friend was a possibility that wouldnt be possible.

"Were we on shrooms?" San wondered in the hospital room but mingi wasnt listening.

All he could think about at that time (aside from the pain through his joints) was mechanics. Now mingi had always been a practical guy. He liked doing hands on classes such as lab work, art classes and more but never had he considered mechanical engineering as a class. But now, literally two weeks after applying for uni courses the man had been zapped (literally) into a new decision. He internally cursed himself knowing he was about to approach a business course rather than a mechanics one he had suddenly found interest in, but he would live.

San coughed, reminding the younger of his existence. "You alright?" His eyes lingered around the green walls of the hospital room, pale purple curtains separating the beds of other unfortunate patients. A vase of bluebells stood next to the classic white bed with a small glittery get well soon card written by mingi's cousin jungho propped up by it. The AC was way to high in his opinion but then again san was allergic to snow so who was he to decide that.

Mingi nodded, a new determination sweeping over him. He was going to find an apprenticeship and open his own mechanics shop. He knew san knew the basics, in fact sans mother was a mechanic herself. He vowed to learn from her and find a place, whether he ended up broke on the streets or or not- call it a sign from the (stable) uk government.
