Louis hips swayed to the soft music playing in the cafe as he made the customer in line her caramel frappucchino with extra caramel drizzle. Even if it was only six am on a Monday morning, he was wide away with a bright smile on his face. Carrying the cold treat to the counter, he slid it towards the lady flashing those white teeth of his. "Here is your drink, mam. Have a great day!" The lady shot a smile back at him and hurried out the door, most likely heading to work. Louis watched her leave for a minute, wondering what her story was. He wanted to know everyone's story for some odd reason. After a few moments of thought, he went back to get the next order. That was how all of his weekdays went, working in the small cafe until late afternoon then heading back to his apartment to eat dinner alone with a movie. Most people would find living like him to be depressing and lonely but he's alright with it.
It was almost five o'clock, when his shift ended, and a Allstar Weekend song was playing loudly in the loud cafe when a curly haired man came in looking rather tired. Louis hadn't had any customers to serve for the last half hour and didn't notice the man leaning against the counter, waiting for his order to be taken. Louis was too busy dancing as he organized the mini-fridge filled with canned drinks and water, singing to himself. "It's your kiss, hey Princess.." He sung with a smile on his face, cheeks slightly flushed from dancing. It was an odd line for him to be singing since himself and everyone else knew he was gay, but he loved it anyways. It wasn't until the curly haired man cleared his throat rather loudly that Louis stopped dancing and spun around.
"Oh, I'm sorry! Wasn't paying attention like I should be.." He said, rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly as he stepped towards the register. "What can I get you, sir?" The curly haired man tapped his chin as if in thought, and during that small time of silence Louis examined his outfit. He looked like he had just gotten out of work, in a nice, dark suit and his slightly long curly hair resting neatly against his ears, almost reaching his shoulders. He was pulled out of his head when the man gave his order. "An iced venti quad caramel macchiato, nonfat, upside down with whipped cream," he hummed, taking a seat at the counter as he spoke. Louis nodded and wrote it all down on the cup with a smile. "And the name on the cup?"
"Harry. Harry Styles."
Louis froze, looking up with a shocked expression. "THE Harry Styles? You own a modeling agency!" Harry chuckled a little at that and nodded, running a hand through his curly strands. "That's my name. And I think I know that by now, honey." Louis blushed a bit, the pet name stuck in his mind as he made the drink even though he knew rich people threw around pet names like it was the coolest thing in the world. He sashayed back the counter, waving his hand when Harry started to get his wallet out. "Don't worry about it, think of it as an apology for making you wait so long to get someone to service you," he said with a small smile. Harry nodded and took a long sip of his drink, glancing at Louis. "Ever done modeling before? The way you move your hips.." Louis could have sworn Harry licked his lips after asking that but it was probably all in his head.
"No sir. Never really been interested in anything besides working at this cafe," he said, leaning back against the counter where all the coffee machines were, ankles crossed. "I've been working here for four years, since I was sixteen. I love it," he said with a grin. Harry took another sip of his drink, pondering over that. "I'm guessing you didn't go to college? I don't mean that in a bad way, I didn't go to college and look where I am," he said with a smirk. Louis shrugged at that. His situation was nothing like Harry's, he wasn't 24 and a millionaire. He was 20 and a ten dollaraire.
"I'm guessing that's a no?" Harry said, tilting his head slightly. Louis gave another shrug, glancing at his watch. It was two minutes till five. "Let me get your number."
