Ashton's POV

As I was headed to my car I saw Tori walking away from the parking lot. Did she forget I was going to drive her home? I was about to shout her name when I got a better idea. I was gonna scare the living shit out of her. As silent as I could be, I jogged up behind her and waited a couple seconds before I grabbed her shoulders and spun her around. I smiled at her and was about to speak when the color drained out of her face and she fell into my arms.

"Hey, Tor are you okay?" She didn't respond. I laid her on the grass next to the sidewalk. She was passed out. "Shit shit shit shit shit," I mumbled to myself. I definitely scared the living out of her. "Come on Tor. Get up." I shook her a little bit and she didn't move a bit. The only other thing I could think I didn't really want to do but I had to get her up. I reached into my backpack, grabbed my water bottle, and was about to pour it on her face when she sat up and opened her eyes. Her forehead bumped the bottle making me spill water all over her lap.

"Holy shit that is cold!" she yelled as she jumped up. "What the fuck was that for?!" She was laughing but also trying to sound mad. It was cute.

"Well you kinda sorta passed out so I was going to dump water on your face to wake you up," I said laughing.

"Your a jerk."

"I try." I got off the ground and picked up my backpack and water bottle.

"Why, exactly, did I pass out?" She asked.

"I grabbed your shoulders to scare you and you just passed out." I said it as if it was a casual thing to just pass out after being scared.

"Oh yeah I should've warned you about that," she replied laughing at herself. "Ever since my dad tried to throw me a surprise party when I was 4 I've always fainted while being scared. Sorry."

"Yeah you probably should've. Well did you forget I was driving you home?" I asked studying her face.

"Um... no. I remembered I just... I guess I didn't want you to see my house or by chance my mom," she admitted looking at the ground.

"It can't be that bad." I placed a finger under her chin and lifted her head up, looking into her emerald eyes.

"You really want to see it?" she said sarcastically.

"Of course." She sighed and picked up her back pack that was laying in the grass.

"Ok let's go then," she said giving in. We walked back up to the parking lot and got into my shitty excuse for a car.

Tori's POV

As Ash pulled into my driveway I immediately regretted it. Music was blaring through the open windows and I new that my mom had "guests" over. I usually tried to stay as faraway from home when this happened. Her guests were never nice and it was always when Mom took out her "stash". I couldn't let Ashton see what I had to live with.

"Um, my mom seems kind of busy. How about we go somewhere else instead," I said trying to convince him.

"I'm not going to judge. What's so embarrassing about your mom? "

"Where to start..."

"C'mon, it can't be that bad."

"Oh trust me. It is."

"Well it's either I go in alone or you come with me," he said opening his door.

"No!" I shouted. He raised his eyebrows at me. "It's just... my mom has... issues. I don't want you to have to see that."

"We don't have to stay for long. Just let me get a feel of it." I sat in my seat studying Ash's face until I sighed and opened my door.

"Fine but not for long, okay?" He nodded and we made our way to my door step. I took in a deep breath and slowly creaked open the door. It didn't surprise when there was a drunk guy making out with a girl pinned up on the wall right as we walked it. I looked back at Ashton and his eyes were huge. His face showed a mix of fear shock. I knew we shouldn't have done this.

"Okay, Ash. We can go now," I said trying to walk past him and out the door. He grabbed me by the shoulders and stopped me.

"No, just a little longer." I groaned and led him to the living room. There, sitting on the couch was my mom smoking. What she was smoking, I don't want to know. She was sitting on her usual's lap leering him feel up her body let a moan or two slip out.

"Oh hey! The whore is home! How was the strip club you bitch," my mom slurred.

"Hey at least I can work the pole unlike your fat ass," I snapped. I always did this to her because she was a bitch to me so I returned the favor.

"Ask Justin right here. I can work his pole peer damn good," she again slurred giggling as she stuck her hand in his pants.

"You are one sick ass women," I said making a face of disgust.

"F-U-C-K YOU!" She flicked her middle finger up at me but the went back to smoking.

"Thanks. Love you too," I said my sarcasticness leaking out.

"You know what, slut!" my mom shouted standing up. "Go get you mother fucking clothes and shit and get out of my house!"

"Maybe I will!"

"Then don't come back!"

"Ugh! Come on Ashton." I grabbed his hand and led him upstairs into my room.

"I, uh, see why you didn't want me to come here... I'm sorry," he said looking down at his hands.

"Hey," I said softly. I walked over to him and embraced him in a hug. "Don't be sorry. You have no reason to be. It did nothing to me. This happens all the time." He gave me a weak smile and sat down on my bed.

"Are you really gonna leave?" His face was full of concern.

"I don't know..." We sat in silence for quite some time when I heard a commotion coming from my bathroom. Ashton looked at me and I shrugged. I walked over to the door and swung it open. There were to guys in there and they were doing some nasty things.

"Oh my god! You sickos!" I shouted. One of the guys was bent over, naked while the other was feeling him up. "Get your own fucking bathroom!" They just chuckled and I slammed the door.

I looked at Ashton and without hesitation I said, "Yeah, I'm leaving."
