Jooyeon had never been interested in dating. Sure, seeing his friends date did make him slightly jealous, but he was happy enough on his own. Besides, he wasn't ready to be around a girl most of his time.

It was another boring day at school. Seungmin and Hyeongjun were holding hands under the table as always. Jooyeon felt like he was about to sleep during class.

That was until a new kid entered the class. Jooyeon's interest was piqued. The boy was against the white board. He couldn't understand why, but anytime he'd look away from the boy, he felt this attraction. Like he just had to see the boy.

The boy introduced himself and was ordered to sit next to Jooyeon as no one was next to him.

"Hi!" Jiseok greeted him. "Hi, I'm Lee Jooyeon!" Jooyeon introduced himself with a smile. The older boy smiled back.

"We should hang out sometime! You seem like a fun person!" Jiseok suddenly suggested. Jooyeon, strangely, felt like he was unable to reply. So he nodded as an answer.

"How about tomorrow?" Jooyeon thought for a while, he didn't have any activities so he didn't see why he couldn't hang out with Jiseok.

"Sure"

Jiseok walked around the library, he was waiting for Jooyeon to arrive. He looked at the title of the books. He had told his mother that he would be home late and explained how he would be meeting up with someone. His mother warned him to not go around shoving his sexuality down people's throats. Especially after last time.

"Hi! Sorry I came a bit late!" Jooyeon greeted the boy with an awkward hug. Jiseok hugged him back without any hesitation.

"Why did you change schools?'' Jooyeon asked as he wanted to get to know the boy better.

"Long story short, homophobia" Jiseok shrugged, Jooyeon was confused, how could someone just admit that so easily.

"I'm not homophobic!" He quickly added after noticing Jooyeon's face.

"Basically, a girl found me making out with a guy on school grounds and then she reported us, so I got kicked out of school" Jiseok also explained that the boy he kissed was still at the school. They were almost about to start dating but they had lost all contact.

"And this has like, absolutely nothing to do with the total of 11 days of detention" Jooyeon laughed after hearing that.

"I've never kissed a guy, what's it like?" Jooyeon sat down on the chair. Jiseok went up to him. He scanned the younger boy's face for a couple of seconds before leaning in.

He quickly kissed Jooyeon on his lips.

"Like this" He said calmly, but he then realised that he had just kissed someone without their consent. Especially someone that didn't display any homosexual tendencies.

"Shit! Shit! Shit! I am so sorry! Oh my gosh, sorry, shit! I should've asked" He quickly backed away from Jooyeon. The older boy found his reaction rather cute.

"Don't worry! I now know how it feels" Jooyeon tried to calm the boy who was on the verge of tears.

"I'm so sorry" Jiseok muttered from Jooyeon's shoulder as the younger boy hugged him.

"Don't worry, I would've never expected to like a kiss from a guy" Jooyeon awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck. All his life, he expected himself to be straight.

"I thought you were straight?" Jiseok stared at the younger boy. One thing he couldn't deny was his beauty.

"I thought so too" He couldn't believe it now that he was possibly homosexual. Maybe, maybe now he knew why he never was attracted to women.

"Oh! I have a question, regarding Seungmin and the other boy" Jiseok couldn't remember Hyeongjun's name, but it was pretty obvious he was talking about him.

"If they're dating?" Jiseok nodded, something he immediately noticed was the two holding hands under the table.

"Yeah, they are" Jooyeon confirmed it. Hearing that gave Jiseok a great deal of comfort.

"Wait, does like, no one care?" Jiseok was confused by the lack of homophobia. Obviously, there was a lot of homophobia at his old school.

"At first, they did, but they just got used to it" Seungmin and Hyeongjun did face a lot of criticism at first. But after seeing them hold hands multiple times, people just ignored them.

"Then no one would care if we dated?" Jiseok let out, he didn't want to say it out loud, but that thought exited his head.

He quickly covered his mouth. Jooyeon found it cute.

"Sorry, impulsive thoughts"

Jooyeon couldn't stop thinking about what had happened at the library with Jiseok. And going to the library had become part of his weekly routine. The two boys decided that they would be meeting together. So that Jiseok would be able to befriend someone.

"Do you believe in love at first sight?" Jooyeon asked Jiseok. The two were standing right in front of the bookshelf. Jooyeon's back was against the shelf while Jiseok was simply looking at him.

"I didn't... but recently, I think that it happened to me" Jiseok was very obviously talking about Jooyeon. He could tell the second he laid eyes on Jooyeon something felt special.

"Really? Why do you say that?" Jooyeon was curious. After pondering over days, weeks, he was pretty sure that he had fallen in love with Jiseok.

"I'm not sure he likes me back" Jiseok looked down, Jooyeon was hoping that the older boy was talking about him.

"I'd say, any guy you like is really lucky" Jooyeon stuck out his hand. So that Jiseok could feel reassured.

"You think so?" Jooyeon nodded, he definitely meant what he was saying.

"Well, this boy, tell me about him, do I know him?" Jooyeon was hoping that Jiseok would describe him..

"I'd hope so" Jiseok said while laughing. Jooyeon didn't find anything funny about such a situation.

"Can I get a name?" Jiseok panicked after hearing that. He was afraid of Jooyeon's reaction.

"Lee Jooyeon" Jiseok muttered under his breath. He hoped Jooyeon hadn't understood what he said.

"Me?" Jooyeon pointed to himself. A blush formed on his face. So did a smile, seeing that, it relieved Jiseok.

"Well, I fell in love at first time with some kind, I'm not sure you know him, but it's Kwak Jiseok!" Jiseok was scared at first, but after hearing that, he was over the room.

"Can I kiss you, this time consentually?" Jiseok asked, he didn't want a repeat of last time. Jooyeon nodded, he was happy that Jiseok liked him back.

What should've been their first kiss, was actually their second. And it went just like the first one. A quick kiss on the lips.

Finally a gayeon chapter after 7 stories! Also! The concept photos for Junhan and Jooyeon are insane. I would've never thought that I would have a Jooyeon pfp but I now have him on discord!
