My name is Alison and I live in Maryland with my parents. I am a 13 year old level eight gymnast training for level nine. At my gym we do school in the first half of the day, and we train during the last half of the day. But now that it's summer, we train all day. The skills we are learning are very hard, but I enjoy doing gymnastics.
Not only am I on the gymnastics team, but I am also on the swim team. When I am all done with my day at the gym, I come home and get ready for swim. It's really easy to go to swim team because I live behind the pool that we swim at. I can also walk to swim with my friends Brennan, Katie and Ryan to swim.
Beep! Beep! Beep!
I slowly woke up and picked up my phone. I read the time and saw that I had to get ready for gymnastics. I put on my leotard and put my hair up in a ponytail. When I was done I grabbed my gym bag and quietly walked down the stairs. When I got to the bottom, I walked into the kitchen and grabbed a bowl and some cereal. When I finished my breakfast, I put on my flip flops and and headed out the door to Katie's house. It's not a long walk to her house because I live next to her house. When I arrived at her front door, I quietly knocked on the door and waited. All of a sudden the door swung up and Brennan was there.
"Hey Ali. What are you doing here?"
"Hey Brennan, you know why I'm here." I began to frown, then Brennan opened his arm. He came over to me and gave me a side hug.
"Who is it Brennan?" Katie's mom was making breakfast in the other room, but she couldn't answer the door.
"It's just Ali!" Brennan put his arm around my neck and we walked into the kitchen.
"You two are too cute together." Katie's mom looked at us. Katie pretended to throw up while looking at us.
"We're just really good friends, remember?"
"Of course. Are you ready for gymnastics Ali?"
"Yes."
"Then let's go." Katie started to walk out the door. I side hugged Brennan and high fived Ryan. Then I grabbed my bag and walked out the door. I got in the car and talked to Katie's mom, Stephanie.
"Katie, we should have a sleep over tonight."
"Yea, with Annie and Hayley. So Mom, can I sleep over Alison's house?"
"Let me check with Ali's mom first. Is she coming today Ali?"
"Yea. She will be coming at lunchtime. She has lunch supervision and she has to bring Whitney to gymnastics."
"Okay I'll talk to her and Annie's mom when we pick her up." We arrived at Annie's and got out of the car. Mrs. Stephanie walked up to the door and loudly knocked. After her fourth knock, Caleb opened the door.
"Hey Caleb. How's it going?" Katie stared at Caleb until he answered her.
"Hey Katie, it's going good. So, please come in." Caleb walked in as I shut the door.
"Annie!" Katie ran over to Annie and hugged her while she was lifting her.
"Guys. Calm down. Are we ready to go?"
"Yea, but my mom is going to talk to your mom about having a sleep over tonight with Hayley."
"Who's house would we be sleeping at?"
"At Alison's house. And then Brennan, Ryan, Brayden and Caleb could all sleep over my house. So that We can have a sleep over, and they can have a sleep." After talking for awhile, we finally got in the car to leave for the gym. It took us half an hour but we kept on talking the entire time. While Katie and Annie were planning the entire night, I was texting Brennan and laughing.
