32 - Confrontation

Tara's Pov

We all finish eating before we start talking about what Y/N wants to do today, to help her take her mind off the situation with my sister and Thomas, I was far from happy with her, but I will deal with her much later now I need to focus on making Y/N feel better.

"So Y/N any ideas for what you want to do today as we have a day off from doing work today?" Newt asks her opening the conversation up with a smile, she sits there thinking about it for a moment before a light bulb hits her "I actually have a great idea for something to do!" she says  as she smiles "ooo do tell" I say interested at what it was smiling back at her, "Well you guys know that beach near the pond?" she asks we all nod at her all smiling at each other.

"Yeah what about the beach?" Gally asks her looking very excited I had an idea almost instantly as to what she was about to tell us, I shared the same excitement "Well~ What if we have a beach day with beach towels and a lemonade stand and even play some music, just live our sunny lives!" she exclaims bursting with excite me we all look at each other nodded and race to the beach Y/N beating everyone of course but only just beating her brother there.

We spent the next hour decorating the beach but the whole time I couldn't stop think about the state she had been in just twenty four hours before, I couldn't shake it from my mind I was so annoyed with my sister but I continued to ignore it telling myself 'Leave it till later, Leave it till later' over and over inside of my angered mind.

I managed to focus myself on helping getting the beach ready as well as making some pretty good tasting lemonade if I do say so myself as the others relaxed on the sand as well as playing in the water here, I finished making the lemonade turning around facing the water.

"Hey guy! Lemonade is all ready!" I yell loud enough for them to hear me, they ran out of the water right over to me each taking a cup before I poured some into the cups, we then walked to the camp fire we had set up and took our seats, they all took a sip and I saw as their faces all lit up brightly.

"Tara this is amazing!" Y/N said as she drank more of it "Thanks, I picked a thing or two about making drinks from Gally" I smiled in his direction he smiled back at me "You learned well" he said we continued drinking the lemonade and playing games at the beach while myself and Gally also cleaned up but that is when I caught my sister walking away from the pond out the corner of my eye, I'm pretty sure Gally noticed, he looked at me nodding.

"I'll be back I promise ok" I said hugging him quickly "I'll cover for you just be careful please" he said hugging me back before I snuck into the woods following my sister to the open part of the glade "Teresa!" I yelled she heard me because she stopped walking and turned around looking at me.

"Hey si-" she went to say but I shut it down "Nope, do not even call me that right now Teresa" I said sounding very unimpressed, she looked down knowing I was far from happy "Look can we not do this" she asked trying to avoid the conversation she knew was about to happen between us.

"No we can't Teresa you aren't avoiding this, it needs to happen because I want to know what the hell you think you were doing!" I exclaim losing my patience quickly, she sighed "You really don't need to know, all you need to know is it's not my fault.. It's Thomas's" she said vaguely saying it.

That really didn't help her situation at all. I'm her sister she should be telling me these things because if she wants any chance of fixing things she needs me to help her clearly "Teresa, if it wasn't your fault you need to explain yourself then" I explained to her as she shook her head slowly "I tired.." she said looking away from me looking down "well from what she told us, she caught you guys kissing and you didn't pull away, so if that isn't what happened you need to go explain that to Y/N" I said to her crossing my arms not sure if I completely believe a single word she is say currently.

"Don't you think I tried to!" she yelled turning to me "Teresa don't yell at me that isn't going to help you" I say rolling my eyes "No, because you aren't understanding that I have tried to explain myself she left!" she exclaimed sounding pretty upset "Right but it can't wait forever, it's almost been twenty four hours Teresa" I explained to her she slammed her hand on a tree hard "I know that, I've been up there all day counting" she said I felt bad but she brought this upon herself "But why don't you just tell me what happened" I asked her trying to get it out of her.

"Because I need to explain it to her myself not a messenger!" she blurted out I was taken back by the fact she had called me a messenger and didn't feel like she could trust me to try and get Y/N to even talk to her, our anger at each other continued to grow as the conversation still continued going on.

"You can keep hiding from this!" I exclaim to her clearly "I'm not trying to! She clearly doesn't want to see or talk to me so why would I continue trying! So please don't tell me to keep trying!" she exclaimed which made us both angry enough to start physically fighting.
