Chapter 3: Self - Reflection

The club was in silents no one had nothing to say or what to do, Roxanne sat back at the desk she was at before reading her manga while everyone else is whispering amongst eachother, Yuri looks over to Reva with her voice lowered "Reva, what the heck was up with Roxanne and why did she lash out like that to Sonika, she did nothing to her" Monika complied "Yuri, is right you know... she didn't have to do that she didn't do anything" Reva sighs " I just don't understand how this happened, what went wrong?" Reva went to one of the desk putting her head down "what should I do?" Monika tries her best to deescalate this situation "Reva, don't worry this isn't your fault, all of us didn't expect this was going to happen, so don't beat yourself up over it" Miyuki walks over and knelt down "yeah, we will figure this out together" Reva smiled "thank you, you girls are the best" for the time being the rest of the girls chit- chat, as soon as they know it the day was over everyone started gathering up their things, in the corner of Reva's eye she saw Roxanne struggle with the bag putting it over her shoulder."bye Reva, see you tomorrow" Miyuki's voice snapped Reva out of her train of thought then waves as Miyuki walks out the door along side Naomi and Sayori hearing their faint chatter into the hallway. Reva looks up and saw Roxanne was heading out the door but before she does she glimpse up at Reva for second with a tears in her eyes then walks out before she could say a word, Reva puts her bag on her shoulder then looks over to Natsuki "Natsuki, do you think she is going to be okay?" Natsuki sighs "I hope she will I mean she has rou-" Natsuki stops her from finishing that sentence then shakes it's off "don't worry so much she will be fine..... I promise" she could tell that Natsuki wasn't too confident about that response which made Reva feel anxiety but, Natsuki puts her hand on her back "we'll handle it, we always do" Reva gave Natsuki a soft smile "alright Natsuki, I'll trust you on it" Natsuki nods and continue packing up then begin to run out waving then following up with Roxanne after that Monika leaves which left Reva and Yuri in the classroom once again but this time Yuri was reading a book and Reva was finishing up her festival plan for the club the two of them sit in silents then Reva speaks up

"Yuri, do you think Roxanne mean what she said or was she just having a hard time with something" Yuri shrugs but doesn't look up from her book "not sure, but either way it was still uncalled for" Reva wanted to add on but decided not to, As soon Reva finished up the plan Yuri and Reva lock up the classroom and started walking out of the school.

Miyuki, Sayori and Naomi were chatting on their way home Sayori speaks up

"hey Miyuki?" Miyuki look over to Sayori "what's up Sayori?" "I a feeling something going on with Roxanne I don't know what but it gives me a weird tast in my mouth, you know?""yeah, your not wrong... your very good at telling if something is not right hehe" Naomi agrees

"but what do you think is going on with her?" Sayori shakes her head "not sure, but I think I'm going to talk her about it tomorrow and maybe she can open up or tell me what's on her mind" Miyuki beams "that's a good idea, Sayori!" as soon they reach their houses the three of them split up. Today was Friday Reva was the first one there at the club, she sets her stuff down near the teacher desk but something catches her eye " a poem...."

Metamorphosis

I lay my head on my desk,

the classroom was empty and quiet

the only sound I could hear was the air

conditioner and a faint sound of chatter in the hallway.

I sit up from my seat and ask myself

why can't I speak?

Why can't I make a friend? And if I did I can't say

a word.

I feel like a butterfly trapped a cocoon unable to break free

from the past but something is holding me back,
